Thanks brotherly for sharing. Please when feeding the birds with this cassava feed, would they still be fed with their normal feeds. Thanks and God Almighty bless you as I await your response.

The cassava Peel can only replace the maize up to 30%. It's not advertised to feed cassava pells Alone as this will not provide the necessary nutrients that are required for good performance in chicken. Try mixing your cassava Peel to the commercial feed on 2:1 or 3:1 depending on the age of the chicks.
Can I dry, grind and mix with chicken feed.
Great job! Can it be given to Layers, and Turkey? And if it's ok for Layers, is it before they start laying eggs, or when they are laying eggs?
@farmershub

You are welcome sir. Yes this can be served to both layers and turkeys during their growing ( 11 weeks) and laying stage.

You are teaching good. Pls,can u totally replace corn with this in making local poultry feed? And can u feed them to ur chicks as finisher feeds without adminstering the normal chicken feed in the market? Thanx. From Nigeria

@@okeychukwuugwu2747 thank you It's can only replace the maize up to 30% for hybrid chicken For Local chickens it can replace maize up to 60% Feeding only cassava Peel as finisher to your chickens will not give you the best results as it contains only Carbohydrates. To get the best results it's necessary to use the right feed formula and with it you can introduce 30-35% of cassava Peel

Can we blend instead of ponding. Ruth F Nigeria
@farmershub

Yes you can blend. The reason why I advise pounding is just to make it easier for the grinding engine, so, you can either pound, blend or grind directly.
Please what if you sun 🌞 dry it after washing it clean, and then grand it into power? Will it also be safe for the chicken 🐔 to eat?

Fiber: Cassava peel is high in fiber, which can aid digestion and gut health in chickens. * Energy: Cassava peel contains carbohydrates that can be a source of energy for chickens.

I was thinking about this fee days ago... but my question is how nutritional it's going to be for the chickens and also how to incorporate some protein into the feed
@farmershub
29 күн бұрын
@@marvyaloy257 you don't need to worry, it can replace the maize by 25-30%. For protein or other nutrients: you can get commercial poultry feed and mix 1:2 or 1:3
