I love how they animated her as silly and full of expression as the other characters. Usually when they animate girls in shows like this they try and make them look more pretty but with Cass (and April) they really exaggerate their emotions just as much and make them just so fleshed out as characters. I will never get tired of watching this show

I don’t see many people talking about this, but Rise actually brings back something that I love about 1987 Casey Jones, and that’s the fact that they’re batshit insane and obsessed with achieving their ambitions in the most batshit insane and violent ways possible. Looking back, it makes what I had initially thought to be a pretty mid-tier character a really neat callback to past Casey Jones’ personality and I love that.

I actually had to go back and see Caseys from back then. It's probably because making Casey a main character was a later invention (popularized by the live-action movies I guess), but I'd I had totally forgotten how much gremlin energy the OG version had.

I see Cassandra Jones as more inspired by the early Casey Jones, a psychotic ultraviolent vigilante who is as much of a threat to the turtles as an ally, and future Cassey Jones as more inspired by modern Casey Jones, a vigilante who trained alongside the turtles and is pretty much a member of the family. But that's more from a meta level, in universe it's probably because Cassandra died when Casey was young meaning she didn't have much influence on him.

You're only saying this cause Cassandra is a woman and so is April, if Cassandra was portrayed as male as she usually is in the comics, you would not be saying this about them being shipped together.

I keep saying that Cassandra Jones is 2012 Karai design with 87 Casey personality and Movie Casey Jones is 87 Casey design with 2012 Karai personality AND NO ONE BELIEVES ME

I remember thinking when I first saw her, "Hmm, Foot Recruit could probably have been friends with Raph's other incarnations, with all that hot blood and anger in her." Imagine my surprise when I figured out she was an adaptation of Casey Jones (until her descendant, the OTHER Casey Jones, came along in the movie). I really wanted to see her fighting with sports gear in a future season after leaving the Foot Clan, but oh well, the movie will have to do. (I hear it's good.)

She's pretty good on her own, but she truly shines when she's paired with a calm and collected partner !

I love her, though I was also hyped for the Casey we saw in the movie trailer. After seeing the movie, I can confidently say I adore both of them and was quite literally lying on the ground wheezing when I found out they were mother and son.

she was supposed to appear in the film, a new design was even prepared for her. she had to manage those girls selling cookies (or whatever it was) and fighting with them against Kraang. But all this was cut out of the film, which is terribly sad.😢

It’s very odd cause when I was watching the entire show on Netflix she is quite literally the MOST unhinged character in the show but was some how still oddly cute, idk how they achieved that cause usually these types of characters annoy people but good work on there part😂😂😂

She delivers all her lines with the inflection of invader zim, I love it

Tbh I think Cassandra is one of my top 3 characters! She's one of my favourites! Hope she gets screen time more in season 3. Love her swagger!

4:15 - 4:23 has been up there as one my all time favorite fight scene moments in the show's catalog. Lives rent-free in my head when I think back to how great all the fights were in the show. The stupid amount of fluid, detailed frames in such a short time is just 🤤😍. Donnie was goin hard 🔥.

Makes you wonder if, after she gave birth to her son, she kept her batshit insane personality or calmed down a bit. Personally, I'm hoping for the former since it'd be awesome if Casey remembers being on high alert around his home because of his mom.

I like her because she has actual personality, funny, and passion. It makes me pay attention to her more

The signs were all there of her being Casey Jones. Especially that hint where she pulled out that bat. But her personallity is just like his, always rushing in to fights blindly and over eager for carnage. The nutso strength too.
