No histrionics, no embellishments, no vocal acrobatics, just pure voice and melody of this great song flowing from this beautiful woman's mouth and heart. She was one of a kind. Love you Cass, rest in peace dear. And thanks for all of the joy that your singing provided.

Agreed...We have long reached the time where, so many indulge in, " Vocal Gymnastics, " that singing a song, " SIMPLY, " is refreshingly simply beautiful... Mama Cass Elliott...Wonderful singer, and pretty beautiful in her own way...May GOD rest her in peace...❤

    1) The person who wrote this song understood genuine, deep pain and loneliness. THAT is great songwriting. 2) This beautiful soul was a trailblazer who paved the way for some of today’s stars. Being obese in Cass’s day was frowned upon and there was no “body positive” agenda going. Without Cass, we wouldn’t have Adele (or Lizzo). The music world lost a true leader of the arts the night she passed away.

My mom was 1 month pregnant with me when this aired. Love the song and love Cass. MY 16 year old listened to the lesson and she adores her story too. Think if we had all the fashion we have now back then for plus size girls. No more starving to fit in. Love u, Cass!

Unique voices, that's what I've been craving in music lol. This was amazingly done in comparison to the other covers but more importantly compared to the original.

My heart goes out to her after hearing about how terrible the band treated her especially the man she loved, just treating so horribly. No excuse on how to treat another human being, it rips me apart. She seemed to be a very LOVING and caring woman. Gone too soon but God takes us at His time. God given beautiful voice. Rest in Peace sweetheart✝️🙏❤️🕊️
