Caspian is an instrumental post-rock band from Beverly, Massachusetts. Since 2003 Caspian have release 2 full-length albums, an EP and a Split "7 with Constants.

This was the first caspian song I heard. And almost ten years after releasing this song, I saw them live. And what other song did they decide to open with... it was a magical moment
This music helped me climb a mountain from 500 meters to 2000 meters. Perfect power of inspiraton.
I will never again experience the immense joy of listening to this song for the first 100 times.. Damn, this is good.
Ravens are such majestic creatures.

Of all the music I listen to none quite compare to post-metal/rock (although I hate defining music by a single 'genre'). The feeling it gives me is in the least ever-expanding in that it displays a perfect balance between peace and violence, and in generality a perfect sense of true beauty and emotion.
Same here, I have been searching for this music all my life, then only last year (2011) I figured out what this genre is called. It's beautiful stuff.
Rep our Beloved Bevtown, Caspian. Keep doing what you're doing!

Saw them this past year at "The End", Nashville,TN. Mindblowing show.
Reminds me of Explosions in the Sky. I think I like this even better. Definitely found myself a new fave ensemble. Kudos!

Gone in Bloom and Bough is one of my favourite Caspian songs.... It's just such a horrible shame that their bassist died a few years ago :(
i played this for the first time because it came up as a related video on youtube for sleepmakeswaves and i plugged it into these really big speaker sfrom my laptop and the bass was great it blasted. so adventurous and epic.
Saw this performed live in April. Unreal.
