Oh man I remembered it was sooo hard to get tickets to see this movie. Went to three theaters and keep saying sold out. Glad for the internet now on movie times and get tickets right away phew!!! The movie was number one in the box office for two weeks

I looked up about this movie and Casper fell in love with Kat when he first seen her and when he was asking her " Can I keep you?" means that if she can be there for him to rely on and she also fell in love with him as well.

Christina Ricci at this stage was already beautiful and had an awareness of an adult.

I remembered seeing this in the movie theatre and I remembered this scene very well

Same ! I don’t why the memory of going to see this movie is burned into my head

At 2:18 I just loved how the music blended on both of their hands going through each other in a gentle way. Just beautiful. Man I remembered seeing this in the big screen at 95 when I was 11 and I just loved it. I remembered loved Kat’s fashion that I looked up catalog for the fall season hits. Oh yes the movie where I got my nickname to use KAT from 8th grade till in my late Twenties. Still have the nickname but not too much. Love that nickname.

And when I first seen it back in '95, I was in love with Kat. First time I felt butterflies was from this movie. 😊

One of my favorite films, growing up as a kid that I would watch over and over again.

1:32 Can you imagine how much time it took to get that right? There is no fluid simulation!

I’d watch this one on VHS back in 99, simple care free kid days

If only ghosts like this were real there would be a haunted bed and breakfast i see money potential

Casper is so sweet

I love how this movie tries to show the positives of being a ghost. Not only they can fly, but go through walls, go invisible, not feel cold, shapeshift, and eat whatever you want. I'm surprised we don't see more ghosts in this movie

It's called budget. This film was a high budget studio film with cutting-edge CG and VFX work. The sequels were all made for very little money in comparison.

You know I decided to rewatch this movie after probably a few years and from the way that the doc was acting at 2:32 and his first encounter with Casper I realized something. Apparently he was a scam artist, because clearly he never interacted with ghosts before so how was he providing therapy to ghosts before getting to whipstaff

@@chrispeare I can dig that,but while he was trying to find her he was getting paid for his claim of providing therapy to ghosts and like I pointed out he had apparently never seen or interacted with one before Casper. So charging money for services that he knows he's not performing, not to mention the getting to be interviewed on TV getting another person to hire him for his false service. Sounds like scamming to me. Also speaking of the TV spot makes you wonder where the he left with a smile bit came from
