I’ve never wanted a band to succeed so bad

I absolutely love how Matt walks the line between breathtaking and brutality. When the edge starts creeping in, I legit get goosebumps. Stunning that this is the debut album 💛

These guys impress me everytime they put out music. Glad to see this type of music is alive and thriving.

My heart literally exploded from my chest at 1:00. That was so damn powerful, I'm actually just blown away. This song hits home and man does it HIT. Incredible.

This band only puts out great song. Crazy! From guitars, to drums, to vocals: everything fits right and is exceptional!

This makes me tear up. Blood doesn't always justify the pain.. but it sure loves to make it evident.

I use to always think this song was about heartbreak but now seeing that it’s about a bad parent.. I can still relate. Cool. Now I can’t use it to cry about someone I still miss and love anymore. :/

I'm late to discover this song, and I instantly loved it. But then I read the lyrics, and it hit me HARD. I walked away from my father at a young age, so a slightly different scenario but for similar reasons explained in the lyrics. My father is out there somewhere, and man does this song explain exactly how I feel about the entire situation.

This song is accurate for me except the beatings. He gave the belt like a Wildman as punishments but that's because his temper and we were stupid kids that never listened. Saw him one time in the last decade and that was because my great grandfather was dying of leukemia. What hits hard is the idea of him dying and never receiving closure. Why did you stop trying to be a father? Why didn't you fight to keep your family together?
