lilmanjs166 this one is also a composition from songs from 1982 to about 1987. I believe Mid-Manhattan was 1982, Dazzling, Misty Lady, and S-E are 1983. So on and so forth.

pretty sure this is just a compilation album, because I recognise these specific renditions of each song from various different albums. Misty Lady is the original from Photographs, and Galactic Funk is the version from 4x4, just as a couple of examples.

This tune is my main hook to Casiopea. Great collaboration anchoring so deep that I have problem in finding even a crush to other groups.

This sounds like it was produced by Toshiki Kadomatsu! Love this sound way more than their earlier style.

Metal takes a surprising amount of influences from jazz in the drumming department. Blast beats were first developed in jazz iirc.

that white strip isn't actually part of the album cover. A lot of Japanese stuff from albums to books come with a little thin wrap-around strip as a sort of advertisement for the product which can be slid off

The intro to Something's Wrong reminds me of Mötley Crüe - Dr Feelgood. Doesn't have the Hi-hats and is a different drum beat altogether, but the modulation of the guitar makes it similar sounding.

This is definitely more "Sega". Most of the Sega soundtracks are heavily inspired by Fusion, and Nintendo takes more of a Ragtime approach.
