It makes me so happy to see that. I wondered why I was starting to see so many Gen Z's commenting on Casiopea vids on YT until someone showed me the screencap of the guy's vinyl/tea story. I've dug 70's/80's smooth jazz, jazz fusion, funk jazz, etc. for years and stumbled upon Casiopea a while back. I now have "4x4" and "Eyes of the Mind" on vinyl. I really want "Mint Jams" but the internet popularity has driven the price up. I'm just happy to see younger people digging on cool old music. Check out some old instrumentals by Bob James, Idris Muhammad, or Grover Washington Jr. sometime. Not the same, but not too far different. Happy listening!

Casiopea just knew how to put so much emotion behind just instruments and it truly shines here. 2:33 is probably the most beautiful thing I've ever heard ngl. Well, if you go back in time you will see that music took three steps back when that garbage called "techno" and whatever else came out starting in the 1990s. Then it all took another several steps back as the decades rolled on.. and now we have Gen Z "discovering" this music and calling it the best thing since sliced bread. I grew up in the decade when this was out.. Current music SUCKS! That's why we listen to this stuff. There's a whole world of excellent Japanese music like this out there... if you look hard enough!

@Dae Hyun Kim., Right On!! and Greetings from California., with Much Respect. I Love this Band SO MUCH💞‼️ and a Shout Out to Kazumi Watanabe and Boøwy, to round out my All Time Personal Favorites from Japan 👏👏🙏.
I seriously think this is my all time favourite Issei Noro solo ever. Seriously. Casiopea just knew how to put so much emotion behind just instruments and it truly shines here. 2:33 is probably the most beautiful thing I've ever heard ngl. Like this just throws me into a whirlwind of happy emotions and love. I hope I can share this with someone someday

There's a whole world of excellent Japanese music like this out there... if you look hard enough!
great song !Listening from DENVER , COLORADO U.S.A.
Have you ever listened to a song so good, you put off listening to it until a special time in your life just to associate it with said song? Asayake is that song for me. I hope to listen to this song while going on a drive or a walk in the streets of tokyo one day.

They all look fun with their eyes sparkly!
I knew Casiopea when I was in my early thirties, Casiopea became my favorite band and is my favorite band, and, of course, they will be my favorite band till the end of my life!!
My youth was right here. And it is still right here. I do not fade.
This has to be my favorite live performance of Asayake ever
the 80's are golden ages.
This is my favorite song when I was in high school. Still comfortable to listen to.
they look like they're having so much fun. this brings me such immense joy.
Casiopea and Takanaka should do a collab
I have just discovered this band. I love them!

I third that three years later. What a great foursome. This song is timeless and as full of energy as the musicians. Wish I could have seen these guys. What a show. I know this video is now 35 years old, and their outfits were out of that time, but it all looks as cool to me as it sounds.

This would be at the outro of my life, Just how i feel about this band. Making me feel like its complete
i will NEVER get enough of this performance... it's GOLDEN
This band is amazing.
Sounds like magical sound shower of Sega, BEAUTIFUL!
I remember buying the album mainly for this track. Monster tuuuune! (The Soundgraphy - 1982).
Best Casiopea song no wait best jazz fusion song Ever
I always love whistling and humming to Casiopea. Oh yeah and clapping. Thank you Casiopea for your amazing sounds.
I have never seen ANY Japanese band smile this much....
2:54 I gave the keyboard room. Best part. The guitar is amazing, but that hoppy synth just levels the whole thing right out.
MAD RESPECT FOR CASIOPEA
So damn talented.
1960 to 1990 in America, Japan... What a time to have been alive.
what a time to be alive. oh god
The best band Jazz Fusion!
Just legendary... in 1985
First time I hear this band. Thanks, youtube algorithm.
Awesome thematic retro style....hugging the line of cheesy...but simply because it is so well composed and executed. The Yamaha DX7 really brings this song alive in a way that the older keyboards couldn't. Casiopea rocks!
