Thanks for posting this unboxing review. I have recently got this watch from Amazon UK for £37 which got delivered the day after placing my order using Amazon Prime. Unlike your watch mine came in a nice plastic box with an outer cardboard sleeve with a foam cushion for the watch. The watch is 44mm lug to lug approximately by 40mm and around 12.5mm thick and water resistant to 50M. The outer case is brushed steel on the lugs with polished steel on the sides where the function buttons are. For the price you are getting a really good radio controlled watch. Even though I have a small wrist size it wears well and has good wrist presence. I wanted a more retro style watch from the round version of this watch and I really love wearing it. Setting the watch up was straight forward and took me less than five minutes to do it. It works in 5 different time zones and mine is set on UK time. No need to worry about the change from GMT to BST as once the watch is set up it will do it automatically. There is a stainless steel strap version of this watch which I may get in the future.

The price doubled+ in 2 years?

I got this watch recently. I must say, it is really light and I like it compare to the other Casio stainless steel watch. I must say it is really noticeable watch when you use it outdoor. Another point is the watch can be easily readable on heavy sunlight, and it had this blue light if you cant see it in the dark. But I am worried if the strap is not durable, and I dont know the which proper third party strap I can find if the strap is render unusable.

I just got it today and I love it. Do you know if this model is discontinued?

I can’t decide if wearing this watch makes me look really cool or really daft. Definitely nerdy, but in a good or bad way? I’d like to buy it for outdoor and sport use. Not sure about on the town, though
