Casio makes awesome budget watches and this model is great. I just got one for my birthday. I have the version with the velcro band.

MRW-200H more color choices and has a more reasonable size.

Hello Gedmis. Have you measured the dimensions on your own? The reason I'm asking is because I'm in between buying either this or the MRW-200 model and the deciding factor will be case thickness (the thinner the better). I already know that the 200 model true thickness is 11,69 thick, but I haven't seen any reviewer measuring your model with a calibrate. Thanks.

The rubber band is OK, it wears in time and tears if used heavily

Nice watch for a wartime... but I believe analog watches should move on from SR626SW cells. 3 years might not be enough in a collapsing economy scenario. I believe they should implement more capable batteries. Some CASIO models con last 10 years on a CR2025 battery.

This watch uses a seiko movement, the smaller versions (mrw-200h) use a miyota movement. These are small movements with small batteries. Casio drops these in no doubt because its cheaper and probably more reliable than them using their own

Casio makes a couple HD analog models with 10 year batteries, they still sell them but haven't designed a new model in many years.

@@matt4398 i have one of the smaller ones.gets about 2 years from a battery very accurate and properly waterproof £16.
