How about the newer full metal solar version that just came out?

4:31 angle shows off the dial so well. Thank you! I bought a blue one yesterday and am awaiting delivery but this silver is a gorgeous option.

Thanks for the good review. Its a very beautiful piece of time piece of Casio. Looks elegant and doesn't have the cheapo look. I will sure want to acquire it. I have other Casio watches and one of which a G Shock has lasted more than 14 years now. I only need to change the battery once every two years.

Add in Solar Power, it'll be perfect!

That a neat feature but the fact that a g-shock rated for 2years of battery life is still running smoothly after 5years is more than enough for me. Plus adding solar would’ve made the price higher which is a no no!

Wow, just ordered one July 2024. I collect high-end Swiss watches, but I just discovered the 2100. I ebay ordered one for $60, well below its initial $200 introductory price. It's not one of my Rolexes or Cartier, but am so psyched to use it as a super sporty/beater watch. I do love how it looks and that it wears smaller compared to the all steel variant. I wish I had discovered it sooner, but then again I would not be getting it for $60. Wear the watches you love on good health.

I’d like the hands and indices to be brighter and have more contrast relative to darker dial. They’re too dark and this impacts legibility.

My wrist is 6.25in and even though I can wear this gm2100, I recently got the gms2100 and the 40mm diameter case really sits a lot better on my wrist. I wish the gms2100 has the exact design as the gm2100, but it is a bit different.

is it just me or is the GM2100B red version's digital screen extremely difficult to see; almost to the point of useless

I have this watch and in this color it is very difficult to see the time unless light is directly on it. The led light at night is useless. The hands should have been painted white. However it is gorgeous to look at especially at the proper angle of light. But for everyday as an actual timepiece it's not useful.

Such a nice watch...I CANT GET ONE ANYWHERE!!!

The mods are still better, the watch face contrast are superior in appearance

Beautiful watch, but for my taste too small.

To be honest I was underwhelmed by this watch in hand, the face is nice but the edges look like moulded plastic painted silver. Personally I prefer the resin.

It's a big disappointment for me. I sold it after 1 week. It is simply unreadable under certain lighting conditions.

I have never modded my all black one… always waiting for this metal version. I personally cannot stand mods… kills the soul and design of what the makers intended.

@@Nick-cs9dt I look at each Timepiece regardless of price as a piece of art… you wouldn’t tinker with a Patek Phillipe or a Banksy would you? But wear whatever makes you happy when you strap on that bad boy… Different Strokes for different folks🤗

Nice video. Watch is OK, but I'm disappointed that G-Shock which is an iconic brand with its own iconic designs would lower itself to jumping on the shitty Royal Oak bandwagon along with other less innovative brands. The design itself is nothing special, so what's the point in copying it? I would have preferred to see a new G-Shock metal watch design, same dial but not this rubbish copycat case. First thing you think....you can't afford a Royal POS, so you got a G-Shock replica instead. It's sad, Casio should not have lowered their standards in order to copy another watch.

@@steelsteez6118 Yes, it's a nice watch but it doesn't change my opinion that they shouldn't copy other designs, the Royal Oak bandwagon is not something Casio should have done. It's there now, and they're improving the watch technology in it, but it doesn't mean they should have done it. I still would prefer this watch without copying the case.
