Although you are not a regular KZreadr, ironically, you covered the most important aspect of showcasing watches, which is presenting how watches actually look like from a distance on wrists in natural light. This is something that even professional KZreadrs fail to understand, but it is what a wristwatch lover would like to know first.

Best review on youtube! Your natural showing is a way to go! The other reviewers are ruining it with super-imposing and macro shots, and thus you can't get a real feel for the watch, like you can with your videos. Thank you Doug!

Thanks dude, been slowly growing out my collection and falling more and more in love with watches - it just goes to show, money isn't everything! Casio knocking outta the park again. You convinced me to get the green at retail instead of going for the silver or maybe a modded one online. I'm almost worried how much wrist time it'll take off my Seamaster, Tank, etc.! Thanks Doug for your review. The silver one is definitely a lot more elegant in my opinion. And like you mentioned, the green is the best to add to a collection. I personally don't have the collection mindset despite owning more than a dozen watches :) I own the silver one and keep coming back to it as my daily. Live in London, not very safe for anything over a grand. But for the price, the silver gm2100 is gold :)

Hey, thanks a lot for this video, the best (detailed) showcase I found so far :) Can it be that the green one has more "readability" on the digital part (easier to read) than the silver one, or are they identical on this matter? I was watching the video and at around 4:06 it seems like the green one is more easy to read (the digital part) than the silver one. Is that true also in everyday use or is only an effect of the light and the camera in this video? Thanks a lot!!

Hey man, great review. Needed your opinion on something: So I'm a HS student, and I need a watch that goes with as many things as possible without breaking the bank, and I currently have a beater Casio AE1500 and an Armani AR0264 my dad passed down to me. Don't wear the latter much cuz its beautiful and I don't want to damage it, plus I don't wear a lot that goes with the brown strap. So I'm currently torn between the Edifice EFS S590DC and the silver G in your video. The Edifice has solar, is a bit more elegant-looking and bigger, while this G-shock can be worn pretty much anywhere without worrying about harming it. What would you pick if you were in my place, and is there any other watch you'd recommend over the two?

It is stylish, rugged, lighted for dark situations, and so functional (alarms, timers, stopwatch, etc.). I do think it would be better for sport … it is lighter (you will hardly notice it on your wrist) and the all resin design will not get scratched as easily as the metal GM2100.

Hi Mark, and thank you for your comments z& question. Yes, the green strap is “perfect” with the dial. As I mentioned in the video, the green one is actually my girlfriend’s watch and I get to set it often from afar in all sorts of situations and lighting - it is stunning! 😊

Hey Sandys1999, I have seen them. The strap looks very well made and nice. However, I think it fits the look of some metal CasiOaks (green & blue) but not the silver. The silver looks too “fancy” - like an AP Royal Oak - and needs a more polished strap or bracelet. Where’s the colored dial versions look good with the NATO IMO.

Hi Tariq, I do have “not perfect” eyesight up close and the green can be a challenge to see at times like lower light conditions. Also, the digital display on the green is also harder to see vs silver one.
