Happy owner of the CT x5000, setting up the rotary button has me baffled. could you please do a video or oral explanation for this fuction?

I am planning to buy this keyboard in a few months. But since I am visually impaired, I’ve got one question. If I wanted to pick a certain number on the keyboard since I use the numeric pad like say if I wanted the electric piano one which is number 32, do I hit numbers three, two, then the minus or plus? I don’t know how that works. Or, do I just simply hit the numbers and it will automatically dial in. Someone help. Thanks. Same with the drum rhythm tracks. Does the same apply? Once again, thanks.

You just hit 032 and it will automatically select the sound. Or you hit 32 and then “Function” button.

casio should upgrade the buttons.. it must lighten if a certain button will be press.. specially the layer, split, tone category, and other buttons except the numeric pad. it is more easier in the live performance. LCD is too small and you might be mislooked specially while in live...

Does anyone know if the CTx-5000 has a Mellotron strings sound? I play a Mellotron and I’d like to see whether Casio has one. I had the WK-3200 and while it didn’t have Mellotron strings, it had something called “Tape Organ” which was close.

No, it doesn't, unfortunately. There are plenty of strings sounds, but they don't sound like a Mellotron.

You better choose this when compared to the Yamaha E series at the same price range..This Casio product has shown a significant improvement from the previous series

The printed manual that came in the box with my CT-X5000 is half English and half Spanish; the CR-K6250 has seperate En and Sp manuals. I downloaded an e-version in English; they may offer one in Spanish. the downloads are free, so if you like you can see what the keyboards offer in depth, or google KZread starting with Stewart Wallace channel, if you understand English, He should be helpful since he is slower and more repetitive than the Casio people.

How are the clavinets on this Casio? I had the WK-3300 about 15 yeara ago, and it had some reasonable clavs... plus - some of the Fender-Rhodes pianos really were pretty good.

¡Las teclas son de mala calidad! ¡UNA DESGRACIA! producen ruidos insoportables para quienes estudian de noche con audífonos, las teclas se encargan de despertar a quienes duermen! Los viejos teclados casio baratos tenían teclas infinitamente mejores... Yo tengo este y NO LO RECOMIENDO! una pena que los timbres sean hermosos y las funciones PERO LAS TECLAS HICIERON AL INSTRUMENTO una basura!
