I've played on so many keyboards in my life and they all have their very own unique sounds. With that said, the CASIOTONE CT-S300 has enough to compose some good stuff right out the box! Plus using it as a midi keyboard with a killer DAW & amazing VST's is gonna kick ass for a good affordable price! 👍👍

When it is ON, does a sound like wind come from the speakers if you put your ear close to them? Like you can tell that there is difference when it is on and off?

Best presentation of Casio keyboard. He had used specially such different music styles, parts... A+👍

It's amazing how a good musician can make anything sounds good, because when I play my CTS-300 the final result is far behind this. And, yes I play with headset, because built-in speakers are very simple.

It has nothing to do with the musician. Rather, he has it miked and EQed, and processed.

@@dennisneo1608 I not talk about the "voice" quality, and I know we can make an instrument sound better, but this is the honest CT-S300 sound on a good player's hands. I'm telling this because a friend of mine come to my home and play an old Yamaha PSR-B20 (very old brazilian edition) everything sounded better.

just ordered one with stand and headphones, the actual price is unbelievable for the quality of this small and lightweight electric keyboard, nice toy!

This was what i was looking for, a sampling of some of its tones. Not bad for the small size. Dudes at the store told me it holds around 300.

Thank you, this was one of the better demonstrations of this keyboard.

Sounds like 90s game consoles. Very retro feel, true to its revived Casiotone name. It's also the keyboard equivalent to Casio's legendary digital watch F-91W

Man, are the keys responsive??? Like pressing them slowly should sound lower in volume And hitting hard would make it louder?

The sounds on the Yamahas are higher quality for sure but the Casios have a charm of their own. I have to get one of these for myself.

Best thing about Casio is they're made for the people! Yamaha is more of a performing type while Casio is for learning and practicing.

I bought one earlier this year to have something to play in my RV. Great keyboard! Currently use it for my midi

Hello youtube! First of all, great video man! Second, i've a question. I'm a beginner and i'm looking for a keyboard to practice and learn piano on. (Play on my own but also learn other songs and play along). I'm more and more confident that this is the keyboard for me, but my biggest concern is that I'll open it, start playing, and get plastic feeling of the keys. Does anyone know how this actually FEELS to play on? Like, the actual keys? Are they weighted in any way? Semi? Ok thx byebye!!

Hey! Also yes, I feel the same way as you. I actually ordered this keyboard yesterday, and for me it'll be coming in about 2 weeks, so maybe I could tell you how I feel once I get it. But I did see a few great reviews on Amazon about this keyboard telling that the keys on this keyboard are much higher quality than they expected, especially for a keyboard.

Casio have amazing products these days. If this don’t ring your bell, Casio CTX will. That series have the AIX sound chip sound will it has a beginners body, the sounds can be used along with Yamaha and Roland and in a blind test, you wouldn’t really know the difference. This is cool cause it has mad swagger. But for beginners, this most def great. But if you’re ready to get in depth jumping into the keyboard game, You should definitely check the CTX series out

Hey, sorry for the late reply xD, my piano arrived pretty late and I also forgot about this. Anyways, I'm a beginner, and for me it more than suites all my needs to start learning the piano and some songs on it. Also I kind of think it may have graded hammer action (or sometimes just called graded action) keys because I notice a slight difference in the weight of the lower and higher note keys, but idk if it's just me. But they are definitely weighted and feel similar to that of an actual piano, along with the texture of the keys. I actually had trouble getting used to them at first and the sounds were sometimes quiet because I was used to playing on my friend's keyboard, which didn't have weighted keys. But once you get used to them, they feel great and have a similar playing experience to that of a real piano. The keys are also full-size keys, the same size of keys from a traditional piano. Btw if you don't know, this keyboard has 61 keys, whereas a real piano has 88 keys, which some other keyboards also have but normally are more expensive. And the sound quality on this is also great. This piano also features 400 tones, and has many other functions like MySetup and a sustain button if you don't have a sustain petal, which btw doesn't come with the piano. So if you're a beginner pianist or don't need a whole lot of extra features from the piano, I definitely suggest looking into this one. (P. S. Sorry for the long response lol)

This keyboard is good in my opinion, i love its high mobility, I sold my Yamaha PSR E363 to buy this, the Casio CTS300 is nice to carry everywhere, there is a pitch bend So if if you want to use this keyboard as a MIDI controller for serious recording on a PC, it has more advantage, And it better than Yamaha PSR E363 at keys/Tuts feel, In my opinion Yamaha PSR E36e it has hollow key feel CTS300 keys are feel semi weighted, no hollow feel... As for the sound, I don't think it's inferior to Yamaha PSR E363 I have made a review of the cts300 tone I try to check the tone test kzread.info/dash/bejne/aaihyZt_m9vRk7g.html

@@Vyacheslav1911 пианино. либо цифровое полноформатное. в итоге он(она) отказалась. ну и свой взгляд: Ей надо чтобы её слушались , горели желанием и выполняли. Старая школа, от которой много знакомых больше не могут прикасаться к клавишам )) ну и не понравилось как она(девочка) занимается, - не по указке, не усидчиво

@@Vyacheslav1911 где-то мне ответили на такое что встроенные динамики слабенькие (скорее соглашусь чем нет). и что в обзорах звук выходит либо через хорошие мониторы либо напрямую в микшер записи опять же студийного уровня. Так что объективности нет.

how did you get to the higher notes? it would be my first time buying a keyboard. i really like the features of CTs300, but i also like the completeness of an 88-key keyboard. but if there's a mode you could hit the upper notes and the lower notes as with the 88-keys, then this would be a better buy imo.

@@sampathbalivada-personal I didn't buy it, I was looking for the Casio CTX-5000 that offers many more features, but the dollar has gone up a lot here in Brazil, it was not feasible to buy. I bought a Korg used to work with samples. Big hug !

that headphone output works as well if I want to send the signal to an amp/speaker/DI box? or maybe an outboard effect?

@@Mika-jx1wt I really like it a lot. I play songs from yt just for fun ( i dont know how to read notes ) so I dont know a lot and i have never had another thus i can't compare. But i am satisfied and its small so its really practical :) And i had read good critics so if your budget its limited i would recommend it.
