YOUR tutorials on all of the CASIO WATCHES are spot-on and informative--and always excellent. I found this specific AQ-S810W most difficult to set time & date but your excellent instructions were most helpful. You even address the HAND ALINGMENT issue of which I had. if you own enough of these Casio digital watches, they become easier to figure out and set. I love this particular model because it such a daily work horse, it looks nice and is solar powered.

This is great, the instruction manual for this watch is something like 54 pages. The light only seems to illuminate the digital display, but I noticed that the hands and numbers will glow green fluorescent if you hold it next to a light bulb for a few minutes. I actually found one of these watches and had no idea it was solar powered. It came back to life by sitting under a light bulb for a few days....and I just ordered a new band - the old one was cut, I'm guessing that's why someone got rid of it. I believe the "battery" is actually a special capacitor recharged by the solar cell and a replacement seems to run $15-$20.

For anyone having trouble setting the analog time and still can’t get them to set correctly after manually adjusting, try setting the digital time to 12:00 and then setting the analog manually to 12:00. After setting follow the video directions again for the correct time and then the analog should correctly set itself. I had to use some trial and error to figure this out.

Here's a cool trick which did not mention in this video. Incase if you want to quickly switch to a different time zone, go to world time option > select the preferred time zone > Press Adjust+Light buttons. This will change your default time zone to the one you selected by adjusting the hands automatically.

I have it too , this is a military watch and by design reminds a tank driver watch - you who have ti can recognize it how it "broadly" sits on the wrist as a tank, the down window is like window of a tank for a driver and the next to it little window like a target window or terrain window...the massive looking dial with protection of plastic of very military green colour reminds a tank corpus.....dont laugh, for this you need to have imagination...if you lost it, not my problem...the designers know this anyway...
