The 1967 _Casino Royale_ was a spoof and a parody and therefore by far the most realistic of _all_ the James Bond films. Ian Fleming died on August 12, 1964 so he obviously did not live to see how his first James Bond novel, i.e., _Casino Royale,_ was mangled in this nonsensical spoof and parody of his book, which is likely a good eventuality as doubtless he would not have liked it.

@@chrismulwee4911 The outrage from "concern groups" are capable of causing a studio to back away from a project like that. Most studios nowadays play it very safe to avoid offending anyone and risk losing potential customers and investors. Appearing concerned about societal issues does some good P.R. even if it's blatantly obvious they really don't genuinely care. Now a film maker backed by a studio that doesn't care about moral outrage or their own budget could, at the very least, have a better chance at producing something with this level of comedy. Sadly, these 2 ways of getting funding aren't very easy to acquire or at the very least not very common.

This is Mike Myers' favorite film, and Austin Powers is an homage to it. Which is why he had Burt Bacharach in it (who wrote the score for Casino Royale).
I thought this movie overall sucked but the last 7 minutes is like a good funny Mel Brooks comedy. Kind of like Blazing Saddles meets James Bond or something like that.
I can't believe No Time To Die stole this movie's ending!

The American Indians with repeating bows! I had forgotten that part!
3:36 'OOCH?!' To be honest, Jean-Paul Belmondo is a good actor.
The last gasp of slapstick
This feels like the Blazing Saddles of James Bond...
In 1967 I was impressed by the models that got blown up in this movie, as seen here, because they looked very much like the original buildings we'd already seen. I knew they couldn't have really exploded these structures in actuality but I did wonder about it.
I laughed so hard at 3:40 with music playing with the police lol
And the Burt Bacharach music is just as crazy as the scene....Indians doing the Frug? Wonderful!
Thanks Sonachu! THIS was one of the Greats! .... My Top List... the Ending Of “ Blazing Saddles “ ( Mel Brooks ) is Like my #2. At least concerning “ Big, Musical, Really Stupid-Fun Endings!” God Bless. Darth Airborne Nobody 55’ NYC.
A glorious mess, which is why it's fun to see it today...
I love this movie!
They totally use the concept from the Casino Royale (1967) film on No Time To Die with James Bond having a daughter.

The Craig films also stole the idea of having the leader of an evil organisation being related to Bond, and the idea of killing off James Bond.
Thank you for posting this! The other ending posted was in another language ( Italian, I think? ) and minus the words to the song. It was interesting, but not the same. Now I have a link to both opening and closing titles. Someone just needs to upload more of the Peter Sellers scenes and I'm happy.
Every Bond movie needs Go-Go Dancing Indians !
Best end to any movie ever
This movie does have some funny parts. I love 4:03-4:09. I like how he's talking to David McCallum (who I guess is supposed to be playing his character from "The Man from U.N.C.L.E.".) I also like 2:52-2:54, he just standing there while everyone else is fighting. LOL!

Incorrect use of the term “schmaltz”, which, when applied to music, characterizes it as extremely or excessively sentimental. I assume you’d agree that this is not sentimental music.

Very 60’s. A great stoner flick.
Since Orson Welles played Le Chiffre in this movie, I want to say RIP Orson Welles (1915 ‐ 1985) P.S, Unicron from Transformers the movie was his last film role
How have I missed this for 33 years?
Remember seeing this on the 4:30 movie on ABC7 in NYC.
When you don't keep Coke off the set.

Oh damn I love this movie
I know the film was intended to be a spoof on James Bond but I found this movie to be weird overall.
Anytime! ^_^ I actually originally did it because this ending reminded me of my friend's ideas (they're just as crazy) but it originally cut short of the credits. Fortunately, this one does just fine.

By far my favorite Bond film! 2:08 parachutes opening by plane, then First Nation peoples jump out of said plain without parachutes. 2:35 Then they crash though ceiling with teepee chutes
5:06 Woody Allen dies by Explosion to swallow in explosion pill
The 1967 _Casino Royale_ was a spoof and a parody and therefore by far the most realistic of _all_ the James Bond films. Ian Fleming died on August 12, 1964 so he obviously did not live to see how his first James Bond novel, i.e., _Casino Royale,_ was mangled in this nonsensical spoof and parody of his book, which is likely a good eventuality as doubtless he would not have liked it.
How Hilarious!!!! and insane...I cannot stop laughing!!!LOLHAHAHA
Thank you very much.
Just a reminder. There is at least one person for whom this film was the first exposure to the 007 franchise.

It was rumored that Quentin Taratino was going to do an updated version of the CR spoof. Too bad. I would have liked to have seen that! But the climax scene in this film with all the 007s converging is my favorite scene out of the entire movie!

They had to be on drugs and alcohol to perform this bullshit! But I love it lol
Oh, Jean-Paul Belmondo !!
i loled at the paratrooper indians HAHAHH
Well, it does follow the plot of Casino Royale, in which Le Chiffre likes to gamble and stuff. However, it starts out with M dying so Sir James Bond had to become the new M. After that, all agents are named James Bond 007. There's a whole lot of weird stuff that I really can't describe.
