I just had an "ah ha" moment when you were talking about quarters and a bird game and remembered the eagle on the quarter. Now I understand why it was called a bird game, thanks. Entertaining and educational, fantastic!

I could listen to these stories and analysis for days. I have been dealing for a long time and you are right about a lot of what your saying, take control, be accurate and appease the customer.

Playing blackjack for over a decade at a neighboring casino i've seen a lot of "shady" dealers...i confronted a couple of them after leaving a (BJ) table an over-hearing them tell the last gambler left at the table that they were "losing" because of ME,..i walked back to the table after hearing this and chewed out the dealer with a few choice words,....i also witnessed new dealers make the (L) signal on their foreheads when they went on their break with their back toward the "losing" gamblers,...i caught the pitboss/suit staring at me witnessing this dumb move,...her frown turned upside down,...dealers should have respect for gamblers that are helping keep pink slips =====away..!

I've opened few properties.. I don't think dealers and supervisors will be exposed with much from opening. I personally was responsible to work with vendors, designed floor plan, worked with regulators, setting up accountings backbone, work with city officials and fire departments, investors, CEO, union reps, HR, etc.. it's a lot of work if you are in a position to make a lot of decisions, yes it will be huge experience when opening a resort level casino, but even at shift managers level, they are not exposed too much to all the work needed to open casino.

Conventions, concerts, will boost up the workforce again.. right now if you have a boombox on Fremont Fremont experience you got a crowd. Getting crazy. Once we can gather in large groups a again then we will need the workforce to severe it.
