for me, Spending is my "yes" envelope. It's for small stuff like if I want a new set of press on nails or a KitKat bar

I now have spending miscellaneous buffer and splurge. That way I can not over spend or pull from other envelopes 😂

To me - spending would be on essential needs/ spur of the moment like bandaids,or good runners for your feet. They are emergency spur of the moments also,a sweater for not being prepared for the weather,also that time of the month. Sharen

Spending for me is always like a personal splurge or a yes envelope. I have started an Health Savings envelope and a Healthcare deductible envelope. I have had an HSA in the past and more often than not I've lost money doing that. It's better for me to budget that myself and then pay myself back instead of hoping a company deems my bandaids or femine hygiene products as eligible for reimbursement.

Desiree. I have a few things, one as always. You knocked it out of the park !!! 2. I am really really missing your monthly plan with me 😪 and 3 I need your budget sheets immediately. How can that happen? I still love my Happy planner, but I'm not at all fond of the budget sheets. Be Good friend , keep on doing you 😊

Hey Desiree, I just got a HP Monthly Layout, that I haven't used since 2018 (I've been using Plum Paper mostly since then) - and I was wondering if you had any tips or ideas for budgeting & budget planning with a Monthly Layout? If it helps, the only 'bills' I have are a cell phone and 1 credit card..... then about 4 misc subscriptions that are on auto pay. (Amazon, Cricut, Pandora, and a small security camera). The HP is easier to use and print my own sheets if needed, other than the Plum Paper...so I hope to use the HP just for budgeting - but any tips or ideas would be great!

If you watch my budget setup video I share how much I pay for my bills. I don’t cash stuff any of this because it’s all paid through auto pay so I like to keep it all in the bank so I don’t mess up on any of my payments. Every week I look at my monthly planner and see what bills are coming out and keep it in the bank. My issue has always been overspending when at the stores, I’ve never had an issue paying my bills even when I lived paycheck to paycheck I still found ways to make sure I was never late this is why I just use cash for spending since that’s where my problem has been with money🤗
