Very cool Phillip. They also have the red smooth bone out. And the stag barlow but was a little pricey. That queen is a very nice 1095 carbon steel. Made by bear and son but great quality!

Got it in and it's a gem. Same born on date as yours. Both blades centered well, strong pulls and all flush and clean. Thanks again for posting, never new it was out there. Like you I have the 75 pattern too. Love square bolsters

East Texas Hardware is my local store. The owner is a big Case collector and he has a bunch of old stuff that he will sell in the store on occasion. The reel I did on Instagram the other day was East Texas Hardware.

There's just something pretty cool about the #32 pattern frame. Thanks for the lead on East Texas Hardware. I need to check them out. I think the pen blade is the same one used on the stockman version. They just flipped it to the position of the sheepfoot. This probably explains why the blade is kinked the way it is. It wouldn't look so out of position if it was sharing that channel with the sheepfoot blade. On a side note, the "Small Texas Jack" is built on the #32 frame which is also used for the #32 Medium Stockman. So why is it called "Small?" Because the "Large Texas Jack" which is somewhat uncommon is built on the 4 3/8 in #75 Frame that you also pictured. (Oddly, I think they also make a "Tiny Texas Jack" LOL It seems Case uses the square bolstered serpentine frames for "Texas _____ knives" I think your other knife is built on the 18 frame which is almost the same size and much less common when it comes to jack knives but very common for their stockmans. Both are pretty cool. I really like the #32 Stockman. I've been thinking about the Jack. Thanks for the warning about the pen blade. As for half stops. I definitely fall into the "indifferent category" They really don't do much for me. Very cool unboxing. Glad you decided to make it. I really enjoyed it! Thanks much.

Great looking knife, i'd still throw her in the pocket. You will use that main blade mostly anyway and when she gets all tinered up you won't even notice that the pen blade is off!! Thanks for sharing that one!!

Actually Stan it was $59 my mistake. Yeah it seemed like a hell of a deal. I think they are only 62 or $63 at Shepherd Hills which seems about right. Thank you Stan for checking it out! 🙂

To me the small jack is a peanut scaled up a 1/2 inch. The 032 is their medium stockman. If you compare the 3 bladed version's pen blade to the Texas Jack's you'll see the jack is longer and taller. As far as I know that pen only appears on the Texas jack

@@BaxtersBlades never stumbled on one. I did see a vintage one that size but with rounded bolsters on ebay. Too rich for me at the end.I keep hoping to come upon a mini moose on the 032 frame. I saw two back around the holidays, but I'd already acquired something and the window closed. For now.

I was not at first. Then I was gonna wait for a Carbon Razor. But got 20% somewhere so I ordered the 6.5 stag bone! Figured Id get one.
