Actually made me a little emotional. Growing up, I was born into the purple, and spent a lot of my time either at the Metrodome or watching the game on tv. For an even bigger chunk of my life, I grew up in Keenums hometown at his school district. It's one thing to see a high school star from your school playing backup for Los Angeles or Houston, but i will never forget that day in March where I got the notification that Case had signed with the Vikings. I remember one of my friends calling me and telling me that Case unfortunately had to cancel dinner with my friend's dad and hop on a plane to Minneapolis hours before. However, I never expected him to play because I didn't think Sam would go down and if he did, I thought surely Teddy would be back in time to take the reins. So you can probably imagine that seeing this happening is unbelievable for me. #PurpleAndGold #Bulldogs #Skol #Vikings

you're right but its mutual. offensive line is better but keen makes it even better with great pocket movement. receivers are better but keen makes them better by extending the plays with his feet and avoiding sacks.

totally agree hes so ignorant he just doesnt want to admit the talent Case has when he actually has weapons around him to use and an outstanding coaching staff who knows how to coach maybe he'd be happy if we kept Shaun Hill and were 2-9 at this point which is probably where we'd be if not for Keenum rather than fighting for homefield advantage throughout the playoffs

as is the case well with Case but every QB "shining" with weapons around them hasnt been where Case has been and been through what he's been through esecially under Jeff Fischer he str8 came off the bench week 2 an picked up our system quicker than anybody could have imagined and dont forget nobody offered Case anything in FA except Minnesota everybody wrote him off and all those QB's that "shine" with there weapons not one has done it in the short amount of time that Case has done it

Starscream 9 are you kidding me? Sam Bradford last season was traded after preseason games. And started 5-0 then our O-line was full of injuries and we collapsed .... well thats a different story

I remember watching Keenum winning the Texans first playoff game, seeing him do good is awesome.

I've watched a ton of Case from UH Texans Rams and now Vikings. This guy has always had the stones to make the plays he just needed the time and a coach to believe in him. Dude is truly all class. Easy to pull for. Go Vikings

He should stay in, even if he has a bad game.

I would tell Case this. You are our quarterback. MN fans are behind you 100%. Have the time of your life and get us into the promise land.

At one point Case Keenum was a back up at U of H. All he did was shatter a bunch of NCAA records and will end of in the CHOF. Now he appears to be adjusting the NFL. He is hitting targets in rhythm and seeing the field better than any back up I have ever watched. He could start for any team right now. Its time to end the debate and look towards winning championships.

Joseph Rennard Its crazy that the all time NCAA leader in many categories went undrafted. He should have been given a shot as some teams started for at least 2 seasons and if he sucked then so be it. But he's never been given a fair shot until now hopefully! Texans threw him in there after schaub was sucking and he actually started off with back to back 100 passer rating games then had some tough outings but was a ROOKIE on a terrible team. Texans gave up on him and he never had a chance to show what he could do. The rams started him so that the #1 overall pick could adjust and learn. He was never going to be part of their plans. Rams were by far the worst offense in the league but check out keenums game in detroit in the rams pretty legit considering circumstances. He showed signed of greatness at times in his limited chances. Now he's in a stable place and they're 2nd in the NFC in large part to keenum.

Mr. Case Keenum, I hope you're this heartfelt post: To all the so-called Football Experts who continue to down grade you as a QB. I say this w/out fear of contradiction, I have tremendous RESPECT towards you. I love your tenacity, dignity, humility when being interviewed, & HEART. Every father would feel honored if you were our daughters husband. You're an Father, & commendable Professional Athlete. At the end of the day, your pay check says: 'NFL' I respect the example you're setting for your generation. Very Proud of you Sir. You're a scrappy Ma-Tha-Fa-Ka!

I love Teddy but Keenum is the guy. He takes shots down the feild and makes big plays when we need it. Plus the refs didn't call that PI on Diggs when we needed a big play and he threw it down feild.

I had an honor and pleasure to work with him at U of H during his last year of his college football career. He was the nicest, most respectful, and most kind athlete I have ever worked with in my career. So happy to see his success and more to come.

I got pissed when Deshaun went down, it was insanely fun to watch him sling the rock down the field. Hopefully he comes back at the same capacity, because he'll be real fun to watch if he does.

This guy is making plays, bottom line. He rolls left strong throw, rolls right strong throw, steps up in the pocket strong throw, stays in the pocket takes the hit STRONG THROW! I don't know what else the guy has to do but it's enough for me. BEST QB since Brett and I have not had this much confidence in a QB since Favre. I hope management makes the right decision this offseason.

When the owner wanted to start Goff, regardless if Keenum had a good game or not, I thought... This happened right when Keenum started to get hot. This guy deserves to keep playing. I'm glad he got another shot and is doing well. I was happy to see his team defeat the Rams. Good Luck to him, I hope he's allowed to finish the season!

A vastly improved o line and one of the league's best rushing attacks have helped him improve his career numbers dramatically this year. This isn't just reflected in Case's numbers (he's improved his career ANY/A by 1.4 yards per attempt this year), but Bradford's ANY/A improved by 2.4 yards per attempt prior to injury. This is one well rounded team (offensively and defensively), and Case is making the most of it!

I love Case Keenum, he's earned my respect and everlasting favorite player of all time as a new football fan. When everyone else said he would fail Minnesota I believed in him. We 10-2 now baby.

Great video I'm glad he's finally gotten the chance he deserves, been following him for his whole career and thought he could be a top QB just never got a real chance to compete....Texans he was in and out, with the rams they had a terrible receiving and line while at the same time just waiting for an excuse to put in Goff. In my opinion he still made the Rams look somewhat competitive when he was playing last year. Anyways hope he has a long and productive career from now on even if it's not with the Vikings

As a Viking fan for nearly 20 years, I will be very disappointed if the Vikes went with Bridgewater or Bradford next season over Keenum. The dude played for his life all season like a boss and was very humble about it. Bridgewater is an awesome human being, but from what I see so is Case, and I've watched many interviews with many players from NFL, NBA, and MLB. Doesn't take rocket science to see good character. Based off both that and his current level of play with his current team and players, I don't see how it would be wise to go another direction, even if the Vikes don't get the super bowl. You play the QB who is CURRENTLY performing awesome for your team and is able to build chemistry, have strong awareness on the field, and be a leader. Case has done that this season, thusly it should be his job to loose PERIOD. Which should be theoretically great for the Vikings because Bridgewater and Bradford (If healthy) are valuable assets for the team in ways of both trade value and/or keeping a backup. Keeping Keenum and figuring out how to maximize value from Bridgewater/Bradford should be a major priority moving forward.

He's made me a beleiver and I'm looking forward to the next 2 against the Falcons & Panthers which are away games. They had one of the toughest schedules coming out of their bye week. It was Redskins, Rams, Lions, which we know they already won with Falcons & Panthers next. 4 of them being road games. They went 3-0 so far so hopefully they keep up the momentum and shock the world! As a Vikings fan I know not to get to excited but it's great to know they might truly have a shot .

The most productive quarterback in NCAAF history. He’s doing now what he did every week in his college career. Yes it took some adjustment after going into the NFL. Took a little longer than some but no one gave him a real chance and only by misfortune to others did he get a chance. He loves playing. He loves his fans. He’s a great guy that no one other than University of Houston fans believed in what he could do. If the Vikings bench him it will be a huge mistake.

Well the Vikings are 10-3 currently as I write this comment. Lost to the Panthers, But this man made some crazy plays. Starter material or not, he has done a great job. This kid is doing an awesome job. I love Teddy but we cant risk holding onto him for the future. I wish him the best but I think Case is the future. He really has heart and I believe the intangibles. Vikings made a terrible mistake in letting Case Kenumm walk. They didn't even attempted to off him a contract given the magical year he had with 2017 Vikings. When you go all in a QB (Kirk Cousins) it almost never works out. Congratulations Case Kenumm well deserved contract and Broncos Fans, Case Kenumm now has experience which will proved extremely valuable.

Case Keenum could very well be the qb for a super bowl winning team. He’s a solid game manager that doesn’t make a bunch of mistakes. Worse qb’s than him have gone the distance playing for great teams.
