Are there two zerks in the back of the feederhouse? I can only find the one on the rock beater, I can’t find one on the feederhouse drive. So the right side chopper bearings - both are spinning in high but only the exterior in low?

Hello! Our service manager Luke said "In the back of the feeder how you can have two. One on the rock beater, and one on the feeder chain drive sprockets. Some earlier model flagship combines didn’t come with a rock beater with a grease zerk on it. Also, some early machine had two grease zerks on the feeder chain drive sprocket shaft. One to supply grease to the gearbox splines, and one to supply grease to the radial pin clutch that is housed in the shaft. The machine in the video has one zerk on both the rock beater and the sprocket shaft. Yes, when the chopper is in high both right side chopper bearing turn at a different RPM. This is due to the inner shaft that goes through the outer chopper shaft runs the sieves, tailings processor, clean grain elevator, and the suction fan for the air screen. The inner shaft runs the same RPM regardless if the chopper is in high or low. When the chopper is in low we lock the chopper shaft and inner shaft together, which makes the inner chopper bearing on the right side not need to turn. "
