Case 71: Elodie Morel
Ойын-сауық
DESCRIPTION
…meanwhile, almost 20 kilometres away, the telephone at the Aigues-Mortes police station rang. The answering officer listened as a panicked male caller warned, “A guy who just left my place is about to kidnap a girl. He’s armed, and I think he’s about to do something horrific.”

The prison sentence they ended up handing the murderer was bafflingly and infuriatingly lenient.

Especially with his history. Like if this was a first offence maybe I could accept it but this man is escalating his crimes.
This is the third story I've heard from this channel! I just have to say I am on the edge of my seat every time! The details, the music, the suspense!
Dominic should have been charged with obstruction by refusing to tell the Police the name
I'm hoping that in the future, these psychopaths will be identified early, and on their first felonies, will be put away for much longer periods of imprisonment than they are now.

How about ALL felons be put away for much longer, psycopathic or not? We should punish according to the offense, regardless of motive.
Tragic . Brilliant presentations
Brilliant research, detailing, and narration! Many thanks for posting 👏👏👏👏👏👍😊

@24:45 I LIKE THE MUSIC ADDED HERE TO THE STORY!! More please😁
It’s like no one cares about the victim or their family… I feel sorry for them. And I feel sorry for Elodie. I love her name and will remember it in my prayers.

@@dougstyles I have family in AZ. Not this old lady: when I retired I moved 1,000 miles northward to SW WA. A whole lot cooler. You can laugh @ me when I'm doing farm chores in the snow next winter, if it helps.

The police: "this guy is very clearly in fear for his life by a guy we know is dangerous, should we offer him protection from the dangerous guy? Nah that is dumb lets just waste precious time interrogating him instead, then let's threaten to harm him worse than anything the bad guy could do because that's what the good guys do right?"
Omg the job was a trap 💀
