Here's another animation review and feedback video. The original animation made by Grigory Tsimbal was reviewed and corrected by Alexey Silantiev - a senior animator at Banzai.Games. Voiceover by Max Makishi. This time there's much more action involved as we dive into a very acrobatic Jump Kick animation with its ballistic trajectories and complex rotations. We hope it's gonna be both useful and entertaining!

    I am trying to import a DAZ character to Cascadeur but rigging it is a nightmare, is there a premade save rigging file I could use?

    Try accurig by realillusion for rigging I think there's a pipeline video in cascaduer channel explaining from accurig to cascaduer try it...

    Could you be more specific about what exactly is the nightmare? Are you using the Quick Rigging Tool?

    @@user-cd4pp4kp7c Yes, I am using the quick rigging tool, the difficulty I am facing is assigning the right bones to the right points (Cascadeur bones), beside There is the bone called weapon on Cascadeur, I don't know what G8's bone I should assign it to.

    @@habibsoufi What kind of character are you using? For Gen 8 characters, all joints are automatically assigned. There's a video about this just came out on the channel. For weapons, you don't have to assign anything if your character doesn't have a weapon or other item in the hand.

    the overlapping actions are pretty bad at the end, look at the reference again you can see he is not 100% in control yet yours is pretty stiff

    The animation is divided into 2 parts, as mentioned at the beginning of the review. In the reference, upon landing, it immediately unfolds to prepare for the jump, instead of stopping. This moment will be addressed in the second part of the animation; there is no point in doing it now.

    I love the fact that you're doing these kinds of tutorials but can we drop the background music please. It's really annoying and doesn't add any value to the video.
