As the heart of any hacienda is it´s kitchen, Wachter accomplishes a balance of warmth that one would expect in this space with an artful blend of architectural elements and colorful talavera together with grand work spaces and commercial-grade appliances while tastefully staying true to a warm, old Mexico feel. Beyond the kitchen, a convenient multipurpose room, spacious pantry and office. A large loggia including bar and fireplace are the perfect space to enjoy views to the impeccably designed gardens with creeks, ponds, fruit trees and additional outdoor areas; in themselves works of art. The grand master suite with en suite (spa-like) bath, and dressing room is thoughtfully situated on the ground floor giving it privileged access to both the garden on the south side of the property and the central patio and pool area on the north side. Oh, just gorgeous. Mexican architecture, landscaping, art and decor is one of the world's most beautiful. The properties seem-- this is going to seem super cheesy but it's honestly what I sense-- the properties seem to be alive. They all have a very active energy about them, it's completely impossible to replicate or explain, you have to be in these homes to 'feel' what I mean. It's that unidentified component that makes a house a real home, something magical and energising about them that is just impossible to identify and name, let alone replicate abroad. Atmosphere...but it's more than just that. Not all 'historic/period properties' feel like this. I wonder how it happens? Everybody has been in a home at least once in their lives that has this feeling about it.

@@CristalCalderoni Oh you lucky thing! Here's hoping that by 2023 at the latest everything regarding the aviation industry and the hospitality sector is completely back to a perhaps slightly augmented version of our old 'normal'. :) I'm really starting to feel cabin fever here in England.

There’s no light inside just seems very dark and again the clutter is unreal!! Is it a house or a museum?

it was a home that showcased museum pieces. You are right- it was dark but also the paint job and the low incandescent lights could easily be replaced. That's why it sat on the market for 3 years. The furniture was added to the price of the sale

Yo vivo aquí en San Miguel y tengo varios amigos que viven en casas de estas en general llegan a vivir de 5 hasta 8 personas, así que creo que el espacio no se desperdicia y estando con mas gente se te quita el miedo Saludos
