Anything worthwhile takes time, but knowing you, you always create a masterpiece, I love how the kitchen floor turned out I got a glimpse of it, sometimes you never do show us the finished product. The fireplace will look 100 times better when you’re done with it.💐💝👍🇨🇦

If you control the amount of oxygen, your wood won’t burn so fast. There must be a control on the fireplace. We call them dampers. And you are the best artist… Sergi is a gem.

I love the details you add to your home. Flowers in vases, murals on your walls, designs of the tiles on the floors, special settings for meals, the list goes on and on. You have the heart and soul for making things special.

Another possibility would be to use clay or wax to form a flower, then make a mold of the form and cast the shape with small amount of cement with similar stone material. Interesting projects!

It's our friend's place - we asked them to keep our wood there, because in our cantinas it could be quite wet during autumn rains, and I have no free time to organize a proper, dry storage area.

Where is your storage building in relation to your Villa? It's nice to have extra space. Everything is coming along nicely!😊

I like the leaf elements you are adding to the rosette. Perhaps you could include some additive shapes with epoxy putty to round out the design. It is so hard to carve out cement when the little stones get in the way. When you paint over the putty it will all look like stone.

Lovely work on the fireplace! The room is looking so nice. Most renos of old buildings insulate the ceiling between the beams with modern methods. It would help to keep the room cozy. Do you plan to do it?

I love your artistic desire but buying medallions to affix to the fireplace would look terrific and come in many styles and then you could move on to other projects. Either way I look forward to seeing the end project.

I have 2 questions are you living full time in the home now? Is the new stove keeping the home warm enough or are you going to install more stoves? Love the renovations so far. Very unique and out of the box ideas. Genius stone carving! Beautiful! You could start your own local business doing that alone!

If you do a pencil shading of the side of the flower that you’ve completed, you can flip it over and have the correct relief for the other side. As you have it drawn out now it looks off because it’s the opposite direction.

Yes, I turned them on and cloor sensor reached 18 degrees (from 10 - under the terracotta layer) in about 1 hour. But this is not a proper check as we have rather warm weather now. But by measurements of consume levels and floor electric resistance is equal to 100% length of installed wire (3kw/hour) - so it is totally working! However it is still questionable if we will be able to feel this difference during cold season. Will see.

@@barblallier9413 Thank you! :) Here it will definitely cost much - we need to change the roof and install solar panels to fully enjoy such a heating on "cheap" - it's definitely one of the distant future projects. It could be below zero temperatures here sometimes, but just for a couple days usually.
