    love it...i have a cabin in the rainforest up at Stave Lake, this looks like it could be my back and front yard...lol....i have not done mushroom foraging but i do have a few neighbours that do.....i love being there anyway....lol

    Alberta boy says.......I spent a year on Pender Island (Southern Gulf) and the rainforest there had something like 46 different types of shrooms . ...carve em ,don't eat em (some shrooms are hard to tell the difference between a fun night and a depressing funeral ) Thanks for keeping variety in your videos. .....time to learn something new today ( then practice, practice. ...etc)

    That is cool. Could you use the crotch of tree where the branch comes out to give you the stems, or even root ball, or is too weak to do it that way? Thanks for sharing.

    Pretty cool work, have been interested in trying to carve something with a chainsaw, but dont think my elbows can take the strain of holding one up anymore. Bad news is im only 40 yrs of age. Guess ill just have to stick with my dremal and carving knifes.

    Love it man. My favourite video so far. I just got a 12” canon quarter tip. Excited to use it once the 1/4 pitch sprocket comes in. My plan was to start with mushrooms and your videos have become my fav May I ask why you keep your chain so loose? Also is there actually no kickback on a carving bar? I can shave with the tip and plunge cut without much worry?

    When I burn a carving it fades even after I put laqure on, is there something that stops it from fading?

    ryan i carved a morak shroom out of cedar log. 3 1/2 ft. its beautiful. thanks for the idea. what do you think it would sell for? its eastern cedar. l am down in sandy creek alabama. foothills of the smokey mountains on lake martin. al sorts of trees down south man. will send pic if you would like
