IMO he’s the most underrated player in football today. Easily one of the best full backs of his era but hardly ever gets the same praise that less worthy players get.

Yep... Dani Alves got in over Carvajal just based on popularity. In 2016 and 2017, Carva was heads and shoulders above any other RB. His level dropped a little since then, but he still is one of the top 3 RBs in the world in my opinion

He can do defending attacking and is always running and giving his all I have only fond memories of carvajal.his effort on the pitch was unparalleled. He had a quite big energy aura and did his job so well… just watch Madrid Liverpool 2022 UCL final ❤

Hakimi still ain't good enough to replace Dani.Playing for Madrid requires different quality than playing for Dortmund.Achraf is talented though and can become one of the top fullbacks of the game which Dani already is

Alves doesn't even play football in Europe anymore he's old and lost a few steps A legendary right back and the best in his prime but no longer holds prominence within this position anymore as in comparison to TAA and many others
