Hope this was helpful! I like to make these tutorials quick and easy to follow. You can really customize this to look how you want and make some really cool cartoon fire in After Effects. The advantage of After Effects fire animations are that you can save time by not having to animate frame by frame, but allowing the After Effects algorithm take over to create some great organic fluid motion in your flame.
