The new Tank Française, embodied by Catherine Deneuve and Rami Malek, presents an expression of a certain avant-garde spirit and connects us to Paris, its freedom and creativity, a cultural geography that was so well captured by New Wave cinema. It was therefore only natural for Guy Ritchie to capture it on film halfway between the Left Bank and the Right Bank, a heroine of the passing of time which remains relevant today.

I don't remember when was the last time that one commercial left such a strong impression on me. The script, Malek, Deneuve, Ritchie, fantastic little jazz piece with french charm...absolutely brilliant

Catherine Deneuve is stunning at every age.
Had a chance meeting with Catherine Denueve years ago at a local swap meet in Hollywood the day before she presented the lifetime achievement award to the Godfather of film Noir Federico Feline himself. She was all grace and beauty then as she still is now. Was gracious and fun to talk to as well.
How a ONE MINUTE advertisement can span decades of beauty and elegance, all by Catherine Deneuve. It would have been nothing without her. Magnifique! Bravo!

Gorgeous. Good show, Mr Ritchie. Rami Malek and Mme Deneuve as chic and elegant as the Tank.
I like the last scene when Cathrine looked down and saw the time, then looked at Rami with a smile, without a word, she looked straight ahead, her expression and the action show that it’s a time to go into the future.

It’s been a long time since Cartier invested in this kind of social media videos - their website sucks n makes people think that just because they are famous there’s no need to put any effort into making something great - now this new series of videos changes everything!

Funny, I think it’s a totally tired and cliche commercial that’s been done over and over since the 80’s (maybe even the 60’s). Boring. And frankly, kind of a tasteless blind eye to all the challenges and suffering going on in the world right now with war and mental health crises, and a climate crisis, and mass shootings being normalized while the vast majority of people are too busy posting selfies of their new shoes, their cats, their fancy lunch, and trips to the beach to notice. But don’t mind me, I’m just being a downer. Go enjoy your fancy watch…..

Before this ad, I thought Cartier watches were ugly and boring.... After this Commercial I want to have one😂 this is the best watch Advertising that has impressed me so much, taking me back to the 20/30ies of the last century...
