I'm super confused! I have the one you call the dupe in your video. I brought it I'm to a well known jewlery store and the man tested it infront of me it came up as 18kt! But left not knowing if it was authentic. Today I had it tested by another source. The stones came up as cubic zirconia but the gold read 18 kt again! I was told that if it was gold plated it would not come up as 18 kt but as titanium or whatever is underneath and was reassured it was real solid gold. Ever heard of the "fakes" being made with 18kt?

@@AshleyMova I have what the internet classified as a "fake". Its the white gold 52833A no diamond version that does indeed acid test as 18k. YES, my acid is new. I made 3 super hard lines to rub off any possible plating. Without physically defacing the ring by making a small hacksaw cut to get to the base metal, I have to go with the results of the acid. It is NOT magnetic either. Ironically, the metal detector that found it identified it as Gold... What are your thoughts? Are there any sites you can point me to, to see real gold fakes? Thanks in advance

I just checked back to see if poster replied to 10 month old question, and she hasn't. The one I have tests out as 18k. I'm sure they reproduction ones cast in REAL gold are out there. I haven't been able to find a site that does them..

I've only had it for a couple weeks now so I can't really say long term, but so far so good. Just in case I probably wouldn't wear it in water to help prevent it.The sellers description says it won't rust so fingers crossed!

Lost my pinky cartier ring in walmart in north port florida in 2009/10. Wonder, how's the karma serving up on the person who decided to keep something that doesn't belong to them? Pretty pricey ring for someone to not return to owner I guess.

Was your name on the actual ring or any info that could lead them to you? Otherwise how would they know it's your and would they reach you to give it back?? And do t tell me they could have brought it back to Walmart, cause a Walmart employee could have kept it and you wouldn't have known.
