CARTA: Ancient DNA and Human Evolution - Neandertal and Denisovan Genomes and What They Tell Us

(Visit: www.uctv.tv/) In this talk Kay Prüfer (Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology) explains that the analysis of high coverage genome sequences from two archaic human individuals (a Neandertal and a Denisovan) has revealed that they are more closely related to one another than they are to modern humans. The analysis also shows that gene flow was not uncommon among human groups in the Pleistocene. Fascinating information. I am a retired grandfather who loves to learn more about the wonderful world around us. Besides, I want to be able to answer my grandchildren with correct information, not fairy tales about a 6000 year old earth. Thank you for this channel.

Unless I've done time travel I've seen this video or at least this presentation by this man before...yet the info says it went up 10 hrs ago...Maybe that's the bug.
