It's the 400k mile+, 50bhp Citroen AX 1,4 diesel that did a 9:55 BTG. Drivers sheer persistence alone makes his AX a pure bred racecar at this point. That is if 7 years of attempts and hundreds of miles clocked over 120+ laps of trial and error haven't made it one first. What a pair of absolute gigachads.

I totally get this. The most fun I've ever had was tearing through traffic with a Mercedes, a BMW, a 2020 Defender, a Raptor, a first gen Tacoma, and a late 90s Accord. I was barely keeping up, but it was hilarious!

these vans are rwd with the engine in the back. engine swaps are very common for them, many have a v8 or some subaru engine.

They really do, I drive Vans in my job and most people wouldnt believe how fast you can drive them in corners if you really want. Way faster than most people drive their ordinary cars.

I am a driver deliverer in Citroën Jumpy 2L for almost 8 years now , and I am really pleased to see fellow minivan drivers on the ring! These cars handle surprisingly well , I drive in mountains everyday (except sundays) and I cannot calculate the number of cars I have overtaken in my journey ! These things are amazing!

It's a multipla. They always look bad. Doesn't matter if they're driving or parked. Having the wide wheelbase with 3 seats per row probably makes it more stable though.

You're more likely to get killed if you get hit by an SUV than if you get hit by a normal car. They try to combine the best parts of a bigger truck, with the handling/drivability and comfort of a sedan, and end up being worse at both

I went last week with my 2004 Xsara VTS and it was a freaking BLAST, I still get shivers from it, what an amazing experience. I made two laps, the first one to get a grip of the track and the limits of my car, the second one to really go for it. I got a 62 second improvement on the 2nd lap. I was only intending to have one, but my gf was having so much fun, she offered to pay for another. Unforgettable

That Aston DBX looked well at home on the track, wow!

The vw van was the only one I was really surprised by. Those Mercedes vans drive very well and have good handling. I used to drive one daily through a set canyons on my route. They’re pretty decent for what they are.

The old Volvo and the Range Rovers stood out to me too. After having seen Range Rovers roll and cartwheel in person, I was surprised there was not an incident.

Amazing driving! I even saw turn signals being used! You don't generally see that kind of skill on the highway.

Exactly my kinda stuff, racing is fun in any car and every kind of car needs to have someone willing to do a lap in it just to do it the justice

I think when they meant "cars not meant for racetracks" they meant the vans, trucks, and SUVs. Porsches are meant for the track and they're still in the video.
