Important questions: will the police do anything? will there be paramedics to attend to accidents so hospitald can be utilised better? do traffic lights have better sequence? how about when traffic lights are consecutive, will the lights have better timing?

@@SShiJie Ikr the new Ai looks amazing I saw a another clip where at night vehicles dip their headlights to low beam when there is oncoming traffic, and then switch back to highbeams. Amazing!!!

One of my issues with CS1 was the strange instant lane change. Wish it was more smooth in CS2..

The cars at the end in the bottom also drive very wild. Lane changes seem to be happing every meter ;)

It looks like they're following the rules but the road is constructed a bit crazy. Probably supposed to turn into that first lane, but since it's a left only they need to move over a lane to go straight. A human would probably break the rules and move over a lane as part of their turn.

Mod idea: most drivers usually driving 5-15 km/h faster than posted speed limits. And both speeding and behavior like in the vid increases risk of crashes significantly.

And if there is more police coverage then the drivers are less likely to go over the speed limit.

@@WebToolkit oh yes! and a few driving like 5-10 km/h below the limit in the slow lane, and some driving at exactly the speed limit always, and some blocking crosswalks a lot of the time, etc. Vary that behavior!

And the mod settings could have different levels, identified by city, "Chicago", "New York", "London", "Hong Kong", etc., depending on how far over the speed limit they'll go! Of course, the decision on which city is which would almost certainly start a war in the comments section of the mod... :-)

It's a pity that vehicles still make very abrupt lane changes. personally, i'd find it much more realistic if they changed lanes more gradually.

That motorcycle lost its rider, hope you find him soon buddy 🥺🫡

Every generation in city building becomes more detailed and realistic, both in visual gfx and behavior simulation. I also like that the game is still stylized to some degree. That will help invite new players while still retaining most of the old fans

So now my question is Will I be able to have double turn lanes as the TMPE mod allowed? This is one of those intersections where it's beneficial to force the lanes to carry into the next intersection

Old engine used on CS2 is single threaded iirc. Now, they might be multi threaded

Alarming amount of graphical bugs in the videos. Hopefully not too many that impact gameplay. But i guess thats expected in such a complex game. I love the artstyle overall but hope for more detail, like drivers on motorcycles, puddles when raining, clothing depending on weather etc. Hopefully we will see more such things in the future. Also pls add bicycles. A city without bikes and bike parking spots doesnt exist irl.

Ghosting might be motion blur? I think this game will be a large technological advancement considering the recommended spec is a 2080ti. I guess it is highly probable to feature TAA I think it'll also have volumetric lighting and DLSS to run it all. I can't wait to see how far modders will be able to push the graphics, being provided with a powerful core ofcourse.

@ayviuon This kind of ghosting is typical behavior for TAA-like methods. This is exactly why I am hoping that this game will indeed feature DLSS. That has some kind of customizability that could prevent this kind of ghosting. Nevertheless, I am excited to see what this game is going to bring!

If I ever get pulled over for running a traffic light, I'm totally calling it an "old green" when I roll down the window to speak to the officer!!

I’m super excited for this feature, but I also hope other cars might do that, since in pretty much all the videos about this feature the only reckless drivers are the ones driving these yellow tiny cars :p

“Cars can act crazy,” when you set your road rules so that they turn left into a left-only lane which forces them to do a hard lane switch to get into the straight lane. The cars are doing what you set

KZread has taken to showing me shorts of CS2 from before release. It’s weird how some of the warning signs are here in plain sight.

As long as they ain't all switching lanes on the motorway blocking the road and refusing to merge.

If there's a script built in (or feature) to allow police officers to try and pull over that red light runner, then a mod may be added to make a vehicle pursuit. Maybe... It'd be pretty cool to see.

Would I be brave enough? I drive IRL everyday, so yes I would, the driving in CS2 doesn't come close to the insanity I see every day.

I like the expansion of the AI, I just hope it doesn't come with bad performance.
