My name is Harpriya Bains. I am a stand-up comedian based out of Delhi. I have been doing Stand up for the last 5 years. This is my first KZread Video and my labor of love and laughter!
My inspiration for comedy comes from the daily life of an Indian housewife and mother with puns “intended” against the hypocrisy of our patriarchy. As I release my first video on Labour Day, I dedicate it to the largest unpaid labor force in the world, The Home Makers. Ladies, we are in this together and I believe in the power of “us”. If we can keep our families healthy, alive, screaming, active, sane, and together while keeping our own sanity intact, trust me, there’s nothing in the world we can’t achieve! And it’s the everyday light-hearted moments amongst the chaos that keeps us going. In the end, it’s how we just laugh it all out no matter what life throws at us, put on our lipstick, and get ready for the next day!
A special thanks to Kishore Dayani and his team, Devesh Dixit, and Shreya Priyam for all their support in shooting this video. It was shot on the 5th of March 2023 at the Laughter Nation comedy club in Hauz Khas where I did the opening act for Devesh Dixit in a houseful audience.
My sincere gratitude to Neeti Palta for mentoring me from time to time in my comic journey and a big thank you to all my mentors and comic friends for all your support and guidance always.

I am married to an Army Officer and mother of two daughters and a dog.
I am also a watercolor artist and model by profession. Being a fauji kid and now a wife, I have had the opportunity to travel across India and so all my art forms are very close to my heart as they are a reflection of my journey as a woman, as a comic, and as an artist and are a little bit part of me and the memories I built along the way.

I have lived next door to her parents for 15 years of my life and trust me when I say this, it was an absolute joy to meet her everytime she came home for vacations,, her vibe is amazing be it on screen or off screen. Lots of love to you ❤, waiting for more shows

I thought this is going to be another boring female comedian. But my God I was wrong. She is probably the best female stand up comedian in my opinion. Far better than all the young not so funny guys and ladies in India. Thank you Harpriyaji. Awesome performance👍
A whole new meaning to the acronym CEO- Cribbing Exhausted Overworked house wife and mother. "Home Maker sounds like a mixie". "Joke delivery.....tum dono ki delivery se toh asaan hi hogi....joke me kee hui galti ko toh mai sudhar bhi loon..." When intelligence meets talent, the product is Premium Class. Harpriya Bains is a real performer notches high above those so called standup comedians for whom gaalis are the ultimate punches. Finally a comedy show you can watch and enjoy with your family. Neat clean and high class.

I am 50 and i must say she is the perfect example of 90's kids . We are so unique we aren't like old people nor we are so young yet we are at par with this generation.everything is so similar , music ,film stars , humour even technology like computers mobile phones , DJ's Discotheques , nothing has changed just that its got little better and polished unlike the way our elders use to behave and say what kind of music you listen to ? Michael Jackson, George Michael etc. tridev oye oye....

My mother & I watched this together. So, after 14:45 minutes she started like "Har ghar ki kahaani hai", "Isne to bhi bol diya, "main to bolti bhi nahi" & what not which lasted for another 14:45 minutes. This was relatable to the next level. We loved it.❤️✌️🤗

To begin with u really look pretty ma'am.. u dont look 40 at all and infact i felt u have applied loriel ka hair color to gray ur hairs ..ur best as stand up comedian.. every punch and dialogue was new and relevant.. doing great all the best ma'am...
This set has smarter and funnier jokes within the first three minutes than most comedians have in an hour long set. 👏🏽👌🏽
