In 2019 while walking up to the cairn I lost the path and found myself in a place with no roads or signs of human habitation except for the sheep, stone walls, and crumbled stone huts. So many cairns within sight I didn't know which way to go. After 2 hours I made my way back to the main cairn and my family. One of the most profound moments of my life. What I wouldn't have given to have this drone's eye view!

Matthew. I have just come across your wonderful piece on Carrowkeel. The tune Eamonn an Cnoic is well used. Would you be OK for this to be included in a website Heaven & Connacht which I am developing - with full acknowledgement of course. Many thanks and best wishes. Mervyn Taylor
