Tonight my brother was almost killed while hauling appliances when a truck pulled put in front of him. The over-hanging bars on the truck trailer broke through the windshield directly into the driver seat. Ironically, If he woulda been wearing his seatbelt, he would have been decapitated and I'd never see him again. Thankfully, His reflexes were quick enough and allowed him to jump through the windshield just in time. He had nothing but a few scratches on his back. God was more real than ever tonight for my brother and my family. This song just gives me chills ever since this happened.

We sang this song in chapel. I was the only one who knew it. So, they called me up, and asked how I knew it, and who wrote and sang it. I said, well, its actually a story.. Ad so I said to make it quick.. I was having problems finding country songs, I have grown up around them, that have to do with Faith. But, one day one day I came across Carrie Underwood, and my life changed. Her songs made me get closer to God. And so, now tons of people seem to be looking up Carrie. And so, ya. Dude I'm not sure how old you are but time passes really quickly and I'm not getting him 65 now and I still feel regret over stuff that I didn't do when I was 17, 23, 25 the stuff I let go by me or passed by me without doing anything about it. You have a church or I don't know what your religion is something city guy whatever and you are thinking about going there then go there. Honestly you might think about while ago tomorrow I'll do it tomorrow or I'll do it next week. Your kidneys are going to be kicking yourself. I haven't gone to a church in over 20 years and the last time I went was for a funeral. I did not love the reason that I was there but I loved how I felt while I was in the church and then people were singing. If you get a chance to get involved or even if you do not make one the reason I say this is because it is one of my biggest regrets and I think that if you have the chance to do it go to the church now get involved with the people there. Just do it

+Quinn Carter that is right!! it's still the same and I'm actually that religion. It's neat though so just be open minded to it. You don't need to go much in detail talking about personal stuff though. Just some people are more open and honest than others.

I was baptized when I was twelve, and it was during my last year at the church I'd been going to for my entire life. Before the baptizing event happened, I was really unsure about whether or not I wanted to get baptized. Some of my friends were doing it, but I had a lot of anxiety about doing it in front of my entire church and I was scared I would embarrass myself. I had just about convinced myself that I wouldn't do it when all of a sudden I felt happy. I can't explain it, but I was just all of a sudden overwhelmed with happiness, and I couldn't help but smile. I thought about it, and at that moment I could feel god pushing me, motivating me to get baptized at that event. I didn't know it then, but I now know that it was him, God really was with me that day. When I got baptized it was amazing. I got to do it with church friends I've known for my whole life, and the people of my small church gathered around me, congratulating me, praying for me. A few months later I found out that the pastor of our church was leaving, and because no one else could take over, our church community was going to end. I was devastated. I had been with those people for my entire life after all. I was crying every night and I let the devil into my mind. My anxiety got even worse, because that same year I was leaving elementary school and starting middle school. I was terrified about school, heart broken about losing my church, and stressed about having to get used to an entirely new church community. I started to become depressed. As time went on though, I started to get used to middle school, and I made new friends. I was still to scared to go to the classes at my church though. But the first time I did, I found out that one of the girls I met in my 6th grade class, went to my new church! We quickly became great friends. We both had major anxiety, and we were both very introverted, so we helped eachother overcome our fears and worries. I still know her today, and we have grown so much together through God. I believe God brought us together, and that she was the ray of Hope that he gave me to get through my troubles. I still get anxious, or depressed thoughts today, (quite often actually) but then I remember all of the great things he's done for me. He pushed me to get baptized even though there were so many unknowns and I was so scared to, but I was SO thankful that I did in the end, because I got to be baptized at the beloved King's Family Church before I had to leave it, and all my friends forever. He brought that girl and me together, so we could grow with him and spend our journey with God together. I am so blessed. Now I'm singing along to Amazing Grace, can't nobody wipe this smile off my face. I got joy in my heart, Angels on my side, thank God almighty I saw the light!

I was thrown in foster care when I was 16 and music is all i had. Mom was a drug addict and alcoholic. My great grandmother was the best thing I could've asked for because if it wasn't for her I wouldn't have ever even known what a church was and when she died I lost my way for a long time not to mention my foster parents don't really care for religion. And Carrie's voice just really hits along with the song. God will help me get through this hard life even if I have no support.

I’ve been there. It does get better. I know this message is 11 months late but keep your head up, ALWAYS. Sometimes that small spark of resolve and that one song is all you have to keep you going through those dark nights crying on the floor. I can’t imagine where I’d be today if I had given up hope. ♥️ you’re loved, no matter what. My birth mom was addicted to drugs and went to prison while me and my big brother and baby sister were separated into foster homes. Too many for me to remember. My great gramma helped me through so much with her quiet faith and peace. I came from those dark times with a light that no one could ever put out, and I have faith that you will too.

This song changed how I felt about my faith. It changed me into a better person and made me grow closer to God. Love Carrie Underwood💗

2020 was the worst year of my life. My husband died and to be honest, I'm still in the gutter. I've got to be strong for my two daughters but I pray Almighty God really makes it easy for me and helps me. I have always been in love with Country music, however for whatever reason I'd never heard of this song. The first time I heard this song was on a country hits radio and I started crying because what Carrie Underwood is saying & singing, it really makes sense. I believe that when you have faith in the Almighty God no matter what religion you are, you will always make it by the grace of God. Remember seeing Carrie in her American Idol audition. I also remember being the only guy in the room who confidently stated "That's the winner this year". Everyone else was fascinated with contestants runs and vocal gymnastics while I was blown away by Carrie and her crystal clear, uninhanced, straight-up vocal. I hear that same clear as a bell tone hear. Love this womans voice.

I'm only 12 years old and this song means so much to me because I know what it is talking about my daddy died when I was 9 years old but I now have a wonderful daddy and living my life.

I've been having horrible anxiety for the past few days. I have been on my journey of healing for 5 months. October 1st I got out of a abusive in every way possible relationship of two years and the only thing that has kept me going is the faith i have that god has a purpose for me and I made the best decision leaving that relationship. I am writing this because I not only need prayers but I wanna let people know that anything is possible with god and never stop believing. This song gives me hope

When I was baptized I came out of the water I felt the holy spirit on me and I was praising God 😊🕊️

I so wanted my mother to hear this song and sing to it. She would have loved it so much. She grew up singing in the Salvation Army choir. She had the voice of an angel.

God is so good, I accepted Him as my Lord and saviour at the end of December 2019 and I am getting baptized once restrictions allow. I am so thankful for the work He has done in my life ✝️ Update: I’m getting baptized in June at a lake with friends

This song is the only reason I even started listening to country music. I was in the truck with my dad and this song came on the radio. I am now in love with all country music and can name about every song and that is all because of you do thank you for that. I will always remember this song it is so holy and upbeat and easy to remember! 💕

My favorite part is when the choir starts singing "Amazing Grace" at 2:50. :)

I know this is a song about baptism. But let's just take a moment to talk about how visually appealing this video is! Soft lighting makes Carrie look like an angel. The light fabrics and muted colors of the clothing create a tone of simplicity that doesn't take away from the dancers or Carries voice. The Dancers! Choreo is absolute perfection with tons of feeling. The moves perfectly match the music (example at 0.26 when legs kick up on the claps) The water represents being cleansed, but also a joyful and playful side of the serious dancers. Carries motherhood glow is noticeable, and I always get goosebumps once the choir starts to sing. I can praise this video all day without complaints. Without a doubt my favourite music video that has ever been produced and a huge high five to the producers, choreographers, designers and anyone else involved in this video. Carrie Underwood never fails to impress me :)

Voice of a angel and such a powerful message....what vocals she is capable of is a blessing for God to allow her to spread the word

I haven't listen to Carrie Underwood in a while, but I'm glad I clicked on her channel. This song brought me to tears, because it was glorifies everything I believe in as a Christian. Absolutely beautiful!

When I was young I didn't understand the lyrics but now that I'm older I fell in love with this song... thank u God for bringing us our lovely carrie ....

Four years ago I was betrayed by two girls who I thought were my friends. This song helped me see that God is always there to rescue me from my thoughts and feelings and that he will give me new purpose in my life. If it wasn't for his Amazing Grace I don't know where I would be today.

this song reminds me of my grandfather that had heart disease...and then died 7 years later but now God has a new angel up in heaven! I begged and pleated for him to come back but then I heard this song and it was my peace for my papaw! so I just wanted to share that! ill see ya soon pap! rest in peace❤

How can so much people dislike this song? There is absolutely nothing wrong with it. All there is is an angels voice and amazing dancers. There is nothing better to listen to other then this. This is the most beautiful song I've ever heard. Good job Carrie!

Every time I have a bad day and I listen to this song ,Carries voice is telling me that God is their for me.😇😇😇🌈🌈🌈

This song played everyday on the local radio . I never knew what it meant but I knew I liked it. After 6years I finally found it. Wow I miss those days.

Please pray for me I'm in detox right now and I just want to be clean and pain free so I can worship Jesus like I uses too

Any time I get anxious, I come here to listen to this song. I always feel better. Thank you Jesus and thank you Carrie. :)

To those of you whining about the "sensual" nature of the video, which I'm not seeing at all, not matching the meaning of the song; you guys do not know where Carrie was when writing this song. Songs can have dual meanings. The song could be both about God and falling into a lover. Btw: sex is not inappropriate. Stop being so closed minded. Dancing sexy is beautiful. God gave us sexual attraction for good reason and it's not something anyone should be ashamed of. Where there is God there is love and where there is love there is romance.

I hit a major rock bottom this year after my birthday and thank God almighty I saw the light and the partial outcomes.

I'm muslim and I love this song, normally not into overtly religious songs but this song is pretty awesome

I love this song so much. The day I got baptized (last year when I was 12) the only thing that kept going through my head was this song over and over again. That was the happiest day of my life and I was smiling all day. I will never forget that bright day.

I got cleansed :) her voice made me cry

When I heard this song I thought about the day I watched my mom being baptized and it brings a huge smile to my face.

The award was for 'Female Country Vocalist', was it not? Carrie's transition to Pop music probably has something to do with that, though none of you will admit it! Right now Miranda Lambert is a better 'Country' vocalist than Carrie Underwood. That so called 'high note' is all Carrie has in her bag of tricks. Unfortunately there are no 'High Note' awards in Country music!!!

TaylorSwiftRocks13 Actually Carrie has a lot more than just "high notes" she has better song writing skills, more range, and more pure talent than miranda. And maybe you should go listen to country again because what Carrie sings sounds nothing like what Taylor sings, which is pop. Carrie will always stay true to her roots while tylor used country and then turned into a pop artist with no originality.

This remains one of the best songs I have ever heard - thank you Carrie. There is no magic in the waters of baptism but by entering through trust and faith, God enacts the greatest heavenly transaction ever! We are washed and re-generated - truly changed - and then renewed by the power of the Holy Spirit. You think God might just love us afterall?!!

My daughters and I love Carrie. This is one of our favorites. Absolutely beautiful song.
