I would really like to see a follow-up after several washes as I have noted that some microfiber towels do well in their first use, but not as well after being washed. And yes, I do use the proper microfiber wash detergent when washing my microfibers towels. Plus, I follow the manufacturer’s wash instructions to the letter. Thanks. EDIT: The worst drying towels exhibiting a big difference in drying ability are the waffle microfiber. I have purchased several brands of the waffle drying towel and they all exhibit poorer drying abilities after being washed.

Equally important as using the proper detergent to wash your towels in is the way they are dried. Low to no heat and no fabric softeners. If you use any drying aids the towels should go into a bucket of water and detergent as soon as you’re done drying the car before it has a chance to dry in the towel. I have some drying towels that are probably 3 years old and still work just fine.

@@autoforge Yes, I dry them properly as well and wash with no laundry softeners and no dryer sheets. I use 3D Towel Kleen.

@@entasis.fifty-four I used to use towel kleen and it's absolutely garbage. Gyeon towel Wash is the best but most expensive and P&S rags to riches is the most efficient for the price and if you're really on a budget you can use 3d towel kleen you pay for what you get
