@@PanTheOrganizer Hi Pan, I totally agree with this Subscriber. I did a search for best car wax. Oh boy did that open a can of worms. I found your channel and started a deep dive into car care detailing. I bought a ton of products you recommended and decided to go with ceramic coating. This will be my first time doing something like this after over 60 years of life lol. Hopefully my 2020 Honda Accord can look as good as your new Porsche.

I haven’t need products in awhile but after watching this, looks like CarPro will be getting all of my money from now on. Couldn’t ask for a better explanation of the products and I’ve always appreciated that CarPro constantly updates their formulas.

Just wanted to throw this one out there, something I learned a good few years back after my first noobi error of using dishwash liquid to clean the ride was making the costly error of putting Windex in the windshield washer tank and let me tell you it will DESTROY the paint on your car roof.

Hi Pan, Thanks for the review. Great as always. I’m a big CarPro fan. My Audi SQ8 has the CQuartz 5 year ceramic coating. I don’t have to do much but wash and top it. I use Xtreme Solutions Topper. Just started using Inside. Easy to use and very effective. I actually use Perl 1:5 and have put it also on the leather and the finish is a beautiful satin. My seats are red and the Perl enhances the richness of the color.

The Carpro Hydro2 foam is pretty good 👌🏼. The 3.0 ceramic coating is great but, it needs more durability compared to one of their biggest competitors. I recently switched due to this. Another great video, thanks!

Yeah the CQuartz 3.0 has been my top consumer grade coating for years now. But yes most brands have been able to produce 3+ year coatings now, so CarPro needs to release a 4.0 version with 3 to 4 years of durability, that would be perfect.

I liked how you mentioned that gloss is primarily achieved through quality paint correction. If you already have a beautifully polished vehicle a coating is really for protection more than gloss.

Correct. Certain protections can boost gloss units by a few points, sometimes visible to the naked eye, but when people ask me what's the best way to hugely increase gloss on their paintwork, my answer is always: PAINT CORRECTION. :)

I did a 3 step polish on my car with chemical guys when I first started a few months back and I was so disappointed at the results. I thought maybe I wasn't doing it right. today I used the new carpro heavy and light compound with polish and I got amazing results. I love Carpro. Most of my arsenal is Carpro products, I'd say 75%. Can't live without Reset for maintenance washes, Essence is absolutely top notch, and ReTyre is probably my favorite new product on the entire market this year. Their coatings are absolutely top of the line as well.

Iron x snow foam! That is the product I have been waiting to find. My car sits in a heavy industrial fall out area and I have been looking for an iron remover I could use every wash. Hey Pan, thanks for going through the CarPro lineup. Over the years, I have tried many products, (ask my wife🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️) and I have narrowed my product use to 4 main product lines. They are CarPro, Gyeon, P&S and Rupes pads and polishes. Theses manufacturers constantly, in my opinion, deliver the best product consistency and dollar value. Still opened mind, but gonna have to do some convincing. Great informative video.

Very good choice, I like some of the Koch chemie products as well, PolStar for carpets/fabric and Gfs for the pre-wash as it is ph neutral :)

Thank you Pan for that great video. I love a lot working with CarPro products. I have approximately 85% of their products. I love also use other brand products for some specific tasks. However, CarPro products are very good and never disappointed me at the exception of Elixir who is particular to apply. We have to use very little. But, for me, my favorite products are Reset & Clarify. Reset is the best car shampoo I worked with by far. Clarify work as good as Stoner or Griot's Garage but smell better. Streakless finish as I love it! CQ UK3,0 and DLUX are my favorite coatings as well. Keep on the good work and thank you!!!

I really enjoyed the explanation of the products listed from this first class company. Their soaps are all top tier and as you remember I love descale for washing vehicles with unknown protection so I can apply my own protection. I do have to try lift soon. Ceriglass with their glass polishing pad is in my opinion the best combination on the market period. I do want to try the tire coating too. Although being more expensive than Simple Green, I love using CarPro Eraser for cleaning up from an oil change simply for the non offensive smell and the fact that it's actually a great degreaser. I coated a previous car after watching one of your videos, but after watching your 2022 Awards video, and this one, it's Car Pro all the way!

CarPro is much higher end compared to Autoglym. Autoglym is a more consumer grade brand, like Meguiar's, Turtle Wax, Chemical Guys, Mothers, Auto Finesse, etc. CarPro is a pro-oriented brand like Gtechniq, Kamikaze, Opti-Coat, Gyeon, etc. I love CarPro for sure!

Like you did yourself when you bought your gorgeous Porche 911 S, I am looking to buy my dream car, a Jaguar F-Type shortly. I definitely want to ceramic coat it, as I always do. I can imagine that it will have only minor swirls, but I want it as perfect as I can get it. Do you think using Ultra Cut, then Reflect before moving on to the IPA and ceramic coating would be recommended?

Thanks Pan for such a comprehensive and informative video. I like car detailing and have applied ceramic coating on my own, my son's and friends' cars. Carpro is one of a few brands that I favor after trying so many others. The Carpro products that I prefer are the CQuartz, Reset, Reload, Essence, Eraser, Ceri Glass, the glass polishing pad and Fly By Forte. I found the Perl is good on the bumper and interior (including the leather trim) but for some reason, it did not last long as tyre dressing. From my own experience on 4 cars, I found that the CQuartz has better durability compared to the Pinnacle Black Label Diamond Paint Coating.

Fantastic as always. I love these brand run downs. I have a question. Well, a minor emergency really. Possibly major emergency. Recently, about a week and a half ago, there was a wildfire in my area. Of course being South Florida it also rained on the same day. It rained really hard for about a half hour, but kept threatening to rain again through the night. Regardless, after that first downpour I went outside and saw not just smoke residue film, but thick chunks of ash. I took out the hose and gave a quick rinse not knowing how much time I had before the next rain came through but knowing ash can be highly acidic. It didn't actually rain again.. Well, next opportunity to do anything about it was 2-3 days later. I only had about 30 minutes, so I gave it a foam and rinse. This did basically nothing. Next opportunity was a few more days later (yesterday Friday) so I gave it the full foam and contact wash followed by IronX. I can still see smoke residue film. Would something like Lift or Reset do the trick? No coating, just some CG butter wet wax that has pretty much reached the end of its life cycle. I don't care if all the wax gets stripped off, it needs to go anyway. I do have Koch-Chemie GSF, but not sure it's strong enough...because Gentle is right in the name. Foam and contact wash was CG Honeydew. Should I hit the whole car with Super Clean, rinse, foam, rinse, contact? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. You've never steered me wrong before...no pun intended.

CarPro, Gyeon & TurtleWax are my 3 go-to brands. I just always have a good experience with them all, and rarely see many bad reviews.

Essence+ can be used to reduce bug marks a little bit on coatings 👍🏻

You mean the actual paint protection film? No. I stick to detailing products.

Hey Pan! Fantastic video as usual! My car is coated with carpro cquartz finest and I've bought essence+ to remove a high spot that I've discovered (should serve that purpose too), minor swirls and add another small layer of protection. I've still haven't used it though, could you make a video on how to properly apply it? Would be awesome!

Pan I 2nd the last comment. You introduced me to CarPro and I love their products. I have both the wife's and mine vehicles have UK 3.0 applied. They should put you on their salary along with the other brand you frequent. Your videos taught me how to correct coat and maintain the cars. Now just need to learn how to protect piano trim oand buff out swirls.

Another great video Pan, thank you! I’m continuing to build my Weekend Warrior arsenal, though my husband would call it my detailing shop. I bough the Car Pro Black Out and applied it yesterday but as I’m sitting on the ground real close to my wheels, I notice that my black gloss wheels are scratched. Not curb rash, but scratched on one spoke, one on each wheel. Weird because I’ve never gone to a car wash. My fault for not going over them carefully in May when I bought it. I was planning on doing a ceramic coating on them at the same time last night but decided not to until I found a way to get the scratches off first. They’re very light, not deep gouges. I looked but don’t see a video for wheel scratches. And help is always appreciated ♥️

Hi Mea. The only solution to remove those scratches is to lightly polish the surface, with a small polisher, something like a Rupes yellow foam polishing pad and something like Sonax Perfect Finish polish. See how to do that in this video: kzread.info/dash/bejne/jGiZw9Jpe7LAn6w.html

Reset,Perl,Eraser,Multi x,Inside,annnnd,Iron x are some of My favorites.I have Tar x,haven't used it yet. I haven't tried any other products besides the ones I mentioned. That may change after this video, lol! Thanks, Pan. :)

CarPro Clarify and Reset are the best two products that I used in my arsenal. (Along with Polish Angel, Koch Chemie ,Nextzett & Gyeon.)

Hopefully they update CQUK soon to something as easy to apply as Lite but with 3+ years durability. Other brands are offering 4+ year coatings now.

As always, love your channel. I'm going to ceramic coat my second car and know the various stages, thanks to your video back in the day! I am going to use Car Pro Essence as my finishing polish, as my car's paint is in good condition. However, do I still need the IPA stage as Essence is a primer? By the way, I am going to use Avalon King Armour Shield as the ceramic coating, again after watching one of your videos - the white BMW one I think! Thank you in advance.

It's difficult to know when you are using the CarPro Essence primer with a coating from another brand on top. You'd have to ask CarPro to make sure. Here's CarPro's official answer as to using an IPA after applying Essence polish: "Theoretically speaking you could skip use of Eraser if Essence was properly used via machine BUT it is hard to measure if you polished the lubricants in the Essence down far enough and so we do recommend using Eraser to be 100% safe. If possible, wait at least an hour after Essence before using Eraser." So after applying Essence, wait one hour, then use a paint prep spray like CarPro Eraser, then apply the ceramic coating.

It sometimes just boils down to user preference. I look the ease of use, price point, durability, gloss, self-cleaning properties, etc with CQuartz UK 3.0. I have been working with this product ever since it launched in original formula years ago, so you get to appreciate it. It has always been stable and always has given me the 24 months of claimed durability. But for a first timer who wants the easiest coating ever to apply, Armor Shield IX is hard to beat.

Carpro reset is my favourite carpro product, Best shampoo I have used, Great in a former or bucket.

MFX is a microfiber detergent. They don’t have a dedicated wheel cleaner yet, at least not to my knowledge.

Thanks for another great roundup, Pan. If you happen to have a sec, maybe this is a non-starter as I can't find any info anywhere - is Leather 2.0 suitable for motorcycle seats as well i.e. exterior usage a no-no? I was thinking it being water-based that it wouldn't hold up to the elements, but no mention of interior/exterior suitability on the Gyeon Leathershield page either which I believe is not water-based.
