I also cry when I hear this song too. Karen Carpenter 💐💐 had such a beautiful voice and she was such a down-to-earth kind person. It is profoundly sad that Karen Carpenter died so young😢🖤🕯️. I was just a Kid when Karen Carpenter 💐💐 died on Feb 4th, 1983😢🕯️🖤. I just 🙏🙏 pray that there is a Heaven Karen Carpenter💐🌹 singing there 🙏🙏💛💛✨✨.

Karen Carpenter, Linda Ronstadt, Olivia Newton-John, Helen Reddy,,,,Those girls back in the 70's could actually SING! No stupid stage shows, lip-synching, or dancers! GAG! Thank you to those who post these clips from a lost era. Carpenter was one of the best from that time and one of America's greatest vocalists ever. Such a pure distinctive voice and brilliant phrasing. No one can sing a sad song like Karen.

"Carpenters - Rainy days and Mondays" Talkin' to myself and feelin' old Sometimes I'd like to quit Nothin' ever seems to fit Hangin' around Nothin' to do but frown Rainy days and Mondays always get me down What I've got they used to call the blues Nothin' is really wrong Feelin' like I don't belong Walkin' around Some kind of lonely clown Rainy days and Mondays always get me down Funny, but it seems I always wind up here with you Nice to know somebody loves me Funny, but it seems that it's the only thing to do Run and find the one who loves me (the one who loves me) What I feel has come and gone before No need to talk it out We know what it's all about Hangin' around Nothin' to do but frown Rainy days and Mondays always get me down Funny, but it seems that it's the only thing to do (only thing to do) Run and find the one who loves me What I feel has come and gone before No need to talk it out We know what it's all about Hangin' around Nothin' to do but frown Rainy days and Mondays always get me down Hangin' around (hangin' around) Nothin' to do but frown Rainy days and Mondays always get Me down
