The film follows the psychological progression of many of Brut's songs, and of course it wasn't chosen randomly. Trauma, turmoil, and then redemption or release. In this case through suicide. at the end of the film there is this quote: "Often crime is a distorted form of human endeavor" - John Houston, from "The Asphalt Jungle".

This song is pure and vibrant electronic. The images are from the movie by the magnificent Lucio Fulci called: "Murder Rock 1984 ‧ Giallo / Suspenso"
//PRISON BREAK IN PROGRESS//
There is no greater video for any other song than this.
"We have a surprise waiting for you in the main hall"
This is really cool but my head canon the official music video is a bald guy breaking out of prison beating up inmates and guards
Le Perv really sounds like an heavier and creepier version of Justice.

I hear you. I remember thinking that Daft Punk had inspired Justice which inspired Skrillex(!) but maybe Carpenter Brut was a different version of taking Justice's sound to the next logical step... haha.

Carpenter Brut said many times in interviews that at the beginning he was mostly inspired by John Carpenter and Justice.
This song and video are incredible and if you enjoy it, I highly recommend checking out the live versions that have been posted here on youtube. They are even better than the studio version, imo.

Awesome from start to finish, the build in the song was great, had to play multiple times, just love it!
Brilliant! The video, the dancers, the music, phenomenal editing
Giallo? In this decade? I wasn't expecting it, but sure, I'll take it!
Carpenter Brut, one of the very best. Both EPs are excellent. Great vid.
Me listens to one of the greatest artists of our time while doing anything: MAXIMUM EFFORT ENGAGED In love with every single song.
This might be one of the best music videos in existence.
Lucio Fulci would be proud.

still the best clip from CB, such a genious montage. Makes you jump in an alternate reality like very few can do.
The combination of music and video by Carpenter Brut is beyond excellent! Sooooo awesome! Turbo Killer as well!
¡¡Un trabajo musical y visual Brutal!!, Me Encanta :-)
This video (and song) is yet another master piece! Thanks for that!!
The ultraviolence associated with this song is so very vivid.
"isn't it lunch time?"
I watched "The Editor" yesterday and really enjoyed listening to Le Perv as the soundtrack for a dance scene. Seems like no one else catched the reference to Murder Rock because I googled it and came with nothing. Really good stuff. Congrats on the music and on having been part of that film, best neo-giallo I've seen so far.
Franchement bravo, le boulot de montage est vraiment bon!
F'n brilliant!! Epic music!! The video fits absolutely perfect!!!!
In my opinion, this is The Best Music Video of All Time
One of my fave videos ever
It's a real shame that I can not give more "likes", I get excited every time I hear them.
4:22 gives me goosebumps everytime gg, CB
Je trouvais la musique déjà incroyable. Le clip l'est tout autant. Une expérience.
Sometimes I picture this song being played by an orchestra, that would be amazing!
I really love that video it's so amazing
this is based on Fulci's trailer for Murder Rock and has parts of the trailer in the video
This beat... its so awesome!
I'm definitely being put on a watchlist now.

Geezus. Who ever directed this sure knows how to keep your attention. Very compelling. At first it looked like a cheesy horror film then it felt really disturbing.
that crescendo tho
I'm really learning about love listening and watching your videos...
bordel, magique!
Music is excellent! The video I find to be hysterical I couldn't stop laughing.
Somehow... this fits perfectly. The music, the cutting. Hypnotizing. Got me into Dark Synthwave back in the day.
This is outstanding from beginning to end

A goddamn masterpiece
Pefect music/video combination BIG UP
Toujours ouf les vidéos de Carpenter Brut !
This definitely deserves more views! the video is epic as fuck! I love the whole grindhouse feel (80's CINEMA FTW!)! this makes me want to watch Hobo with a shotgun now...You guys are awesome and I shall be purchasing =D
So much this right here !
This is some crazy shit i need every day or i cant sleep.
Absolutley AMAZING 🖤🖤
As incredible as the Turbo Killer video is, I think I would have to give this one the slight edge. The way they edited that old film footage is outstanding. How can these 80s Italian dancers be so surprising and evocative as a video subject??
what a gem!
BRILIANT!
