and other bands could achieve a lot more succes in this genre like Nothing But Thieves or Foals or Royal Blood. But man Carpark North was such a visionary with this song in 2005

This song and video are probably my top discovery of the year.

To me the music video has always been about growing up. It's a graphical representation of how much growing up is a tiring process, you will have fun, you will cry, you will show off, you'll face barriers, it's confusing, it's tiring. I particularly like 1:41 - 1:49 it communicates me how that at some point in life unexplainable barriers between people appear, whereas when you're a kid you're friends with everyone.

I saw that as a classic representation of how girls and boys alienate each other (cis heterosexuals that is). Also the girls are ganging up and being scary in the beginning which is how they seem to boys at that age.

This has been my favorite music video for years and it still is.

@@GabrielWJensen I'm sorry but I doubt I will. The only song I listen to on Fifa 20 is swing. Soundtracks don't have the gems they used to. I mean I'm sure some out there love the mumble rap and weird dance stuff that's out these days but you won't find a song like this in modern EA tracks.

@@GabrielWJensen Nope, Fifa 18 19 and 20 songs are shit. Actually there's one good song on Fifa 19 called No/me Consistent which is very good, and I'm automatic on Fifa 18.

Fantastic song and amazing video - i remember when it was out, should be around 2006/2007 , i loved it, and i still do

I remember this video aired on an indipendent italian music channel called FLUX in 2007. It aired just ggod and fresh music like this song with no ads or crappy vjs - and of course it was then shut. This is the video I remember most. So happy I can watch it over and over again now! :)

Oh the memories of playing Fifa 2008 when I was a kid. I was happy and I was not even aware. Good old days😢😢

i have come home from FDF national camp in Denmark and carpark north played for free for the seniors and it was awesome :D (senior: 15-19 years old) and they said: we knew that we are going to play for alot here tonight, but we did'nt know that you had such a ******* big scene!

After all these years I still like this song.

Those days ahh I cant even explain completely different feeling of nostalgia. I miss those days. I want to travel back in time and relive it one last time cause I know i cant experience that feeling again ever in my life. So carefree and nostalgic playing Fifa back then I miss those days.

When I was 20 years old.. Every trip this song

I finally found it, just remembering the Yeah this is human chorus, always got goosebumps from that part.

This video really makes the song. An unbroken string of incredible images, my favourites being between 1.41-1.49. Brilliant. One of the best short films of its year.

Apparently it's about being in the early teens, boys being all jelly and not being able to control their body, girls being much more aware of their actions (e.g. the dancing). @guzotak > I forgot who she was, because I only met her once :( But, I met her two years ago on a young writers' program in Denmark (a kind of summer school). She came an held a kind of lecture about writing and being a young author. She already had a couple books out and such, she was really cool! I can try finding her name, though!
