They prevent problems such as tangling, commonly associated with the traditional H blocks, and are a huge visual aid for boating out in low light or darkness. The Marker Pole illuminates automatically when the light level drops, without the need for a remote as used in the IMP Marker Poles. This means it can be left in the lake to mark spots and areas and can be seen at all times.
