Have always liked listening to Kevin’s stories, he was the first name I really knew in carp fishing in the early 90s, didn’t he also introduce the daiwa ss300s to the carp world and not forgetting the amorphous whisker akn , would of loved to have that set up then and probably love it even more now!

It was good to hear Kevin mention Rod Hutchinson. Lots of things we now know are because of Rod's efforts. Unfortunately his health was not good in later years so he never really got on to the KZread/video thing like todays big names. RIP Rod. With the possible exception of Tim Paisley, is Kevin now the grandfather of modern carp fishing? Lets face it, unless we are sponsored by another tackle manufacturer there is probably none of us who doesn't have a Nash product in our kit somewhere. I have been buying his gear since he started, along with loads of other manufacturers, but with the exception of his original two leg sunbed cover, which didn't fit any bloody bedchair I bought :), I have never had a duff item and continue to buy his stuff as I know it is innovative and good.
