Dwarf rods are the way forward to be honest. A lot more people want that black Matt look all nice and compact and these for me tick every box. The 6 foot option look really well for day session a or the snagged areas. I prefer the 9 foots as they offer everything. The handle that retracts for me is pure genius and to be fair isn’t a typical telescope setup. It’s robust and surprisingly sturdy. I would like to a set of reels now that maybe fit on these which are nice and compact. But all in all a very nice system. It’s fair to say that Nash for me now are the biggest name in the game. Slowly but surely all my tackle is turning to Nash. I do have some black widow dwarf rods but after this I need a change. Well done Nash 👍👍👍👍👍

I’ve got some of the 10ft 2.75tc and 3.5tc Dwarf Abbreviated. Had them for two seasons now. Only had fish up to 25Ib on them so far, but not had any problems with the tips at all. I think it was only the original models that had tip problems. They are however quite soft action compared to many rods, so if you want to cast large weights, go for the 3.5tc - it’s rare to pull a hook with these rods though as they soak up fish lunges really well.

I think that dwarf are more practical and can come in shorter and lighter variations. It is easy to carry and move around with dwarf rods

Dwarfs are a little cheaper than the scope range, obviously made with cheaper components but a cracking rod for the price, they've not let me down anyway👍same lengths and test curves as the scopes available in the dwarfs👊

Why is it so popular in modern KZread videos to set up your rods not properly secured. People talk about fish safety, dumping the lead etc. What about towing an Fin rod around the lake for Christ sake! Just think on it. Rod butts on the floor, not secured. Butt rings positioned on the wrong side of the alarms. Oh, and just to be sure the rods are guaranteed to launch themselves into space, you put the rod tips up in the air at 45 degrees. It's become a fashion now. So many so called "top anglers", are doing it. Even seen several of them nearly lose their rods on KZread videos before, and still they do it. Come on guys, you are setting a bad example to the youngsters. Sort it out!!!!!!!
