CARP FISHING REVIEW - Trakker Tempest Brolly V2

Having fallen in love with the original Tempest Brolly, Elliott was mad keen to get his hands on the new and improved V2. Here's the lowdown!
These reviews contain Elliott Gray's HONEST and NO BULLS**T approach to carp fishing tackle; The products featured are by choice and because he believes in them, Elliott isn't paid to say they’re good, or bad, ONLY HE DECIDES!

Sitting in my V2 for the first time. Love it. I’m 6ft and can sit up using my bed chair buddy with just enough head room. It’s pissing down with rain and all my kit is lovely and dry. This really is the one 👌

Picked up a Hide off Gumtree with all the zip on's and groundsheet for a steal, love it. Cant comment on the Tempest but the Hide does look very similar. Both Nash and Trakker make the best Bivvies and bedchairs on the market, you wont go wrong with is or the Hide.

I tend to toss n turn like a good'n when I sleep, so subsequently a bedchair is no good for me. Can you fit a watertight groundsheet to these, So I can sleep on the ground without water seeping in beneath me? Cheers Gary

Does the olive green front come with a mozzie mesh built into the windows, or do you have to pick between the mesh and the front?

Looking for a decent brolly/shelter, this looks awesome but looks low on the front. I am 5'10" , anyone taller who can comment on the space inside and the view while sitting on a regular fishing chair?

bought the V2 somehow, lucky me I kept my Fox Supa Brolly MK2. Impressed by the frame of the V2 but disapointed of the cheap 210D nylon crap material. Will try to find a stupid buyer on ebay.

I have a 10 year old bivvy still going strong with a sewn in ground sheet, used & abused by bedchairs, me & other stuff, no rips or holes. Just an excuse to cut the manufacturing cost by not fitting one, but still keep the purchase price high.
