For the main feature this episode you join us at an Essex day ticket complex as we set ourselves a tall order for the day...not content with just trying to catch one carp we attempt to bag a carp from each of the lakes on the complex in an 8 hour day session.

We catch up with the legend that is Ian Russell to hear about two ridiculous winter hauls he had this year and how he went about his business. Ian is one of the most loveable characters in the game and it’s impossible not to get fired up from his amazing levels of energy & enthusiasm.

Ive known Joe since my first trip to DL many moons ago..... he has always taken time to say hello even after I hadn't seen for years and suddenly at Sandown carp show,,, he taps me on the shoulder and says Hi....... Got to say spotting the upper 20 comment had me in hysterics .... worth every penny....

Another great episode remember pushing 18 years ago being in oxlease next to Ian Russell doing tuition fishing.... Genuinely great guy had alot of time for me and my dad and helped me with some tips and I bagged an 18lber. Another local lake near to me chigboro and that hook in the lip story 😭

He's 19 this month and studying English at Norwich college, he and my Mrs got citizenship just before 1at lockdown so managed to finish years of visa stuff just in time.Glad to see you still do quality stuff my friend...!!!

Class vid. Hook in lip. I had same thing hook in thumb hook had gone through the lip.had to just rip it out in the net. Super glued it and stayed the wkend. That upper 20 blonde? Was that stone? Lol. Cracking vids joe.
