Hi ben that a very nice lake it's a pity that you couldn't bank any carp I think that's what carp fishing is and it's going to get harder now as its coming to late autumn and early winter

Our shelf-life baits have the same ingredients as the freezer; they undertake a different drying process to get the moisture level lower. This does mean the baits are slightly more hard than the freezer. Although still softer than 95% of the “off-the-shelf” brands. We use a low dosage of MPG to preserve the eggs.

I would have to have a float rod tight into the margins fishing for roach/ rudd/ tench or perch during day ! Or is this lake as productive for carp during the day as night ?

Absolutely great lake for all kinds of fishing, most carp bites are through the night typically.
