Would also be good if you could also do a splicing video for the chaincore. I have used the rig marole chainlink in the past and had some problems with splicing.

Hi Kevan. I did actually have a splicing tutorial filmed to put on this vlog but decided not to put it on in the end. I will put it on my next vlog. The nexus is very easy to splice 👍🎣😀

Hi Craig. I will be back on the syndicate soon. Its fishing very well at the moment. I have called about getting on Sandhurst and it is fully booked. The only way you can get on now is by booking online and it seems that it is very busy all of the time. I will keep trying but doesn't look promising. I will have to think about somewhere Else. @@ACarpyConnection i worked for a local bait company for around 15 years and found myself getting more into bait,than into actually going fishing,it became an obsession,i slowly lost perspective,and i suffered the consequences,i didnt realise how important it was for me to just have my own space,i lost the ability to relax,its almost as if its a medicine of sorts,to me anyway,well im slowly building my kit back up,its funny this game,the old saying,"you dont what youve got,untill its gone",springs to mind,anyway mate,keep the vids coming,there so well made,well done that man!

Fishing is the polar opposite to my job. I've had the chance to work as a videographer for a big tackle company but I turned it down because I want to keep my job and my fishing and vlogs separate. Once your hobby becomes a job then it's game over. The filming side of it all I live very much but it does get in the way of my fishing sometimes. That's why I try to put one quality vlog out a month. Sometimes it's nice to just go fishing and leave the cameras at home. I couldn't imagine my life without fishing. Be lucky mate 👍🎣😁

Hi Darwin.Thanks for your comment mate. I think lockdown has screwed fishing up for a lot of people. A few quiet months with no fishing then all of sudden tons of bait going it and this hot weather. A lot of oxygen crashes going on at the moment too. The last thing the fish want to do is feed heavy. Not long till Autumn mate. 👍😀🎣

Hi mate. Thank you for your comment. Not yet mate. TBH, I haven't really put that much time into the lake. Only what has been seen on my vlogs. Once the mad rush calms down I will get back on there. 🎣👍😁

By the way I would not recommend sandhurst ...like I said i am new to carp fishing last year ..but not new to fishing ... i have just got back from 3 nights yesterday at sandhurst ... the place was rammed, its a tired venue i thought .. the banks are that hard you cannot get your bivy pegs in ...3 full days and nights not even a line bite and I was with an expierenced angler ... there are a lot of short swims on 10 wraps ...I travelled 250 miles one way and will not be going back there ... but i suppose in some ways it would be nice to see you fish it to show what we obviously didn't get right ... kev

Hi kieren, thanks for your feedback on Sandhurst. I think you will find that is the case with most day ticket venues now. This is why i mainly fish well run syndicates and club waters now. Its a shame really as Sandhurst is one place i always wanted to fish. Ticket prices are getting silly now to with Some places charging £35 a night. I cant get on Sandhurst now as it is fully booked up. I might just end up doing a week on Redhouse or my Syndicate. Save myself a few quid too.😀👍🎣

@@ACarpyConnection I get that to ... being 54 now and just really focusing on carp fishing , here in wirral there are no syndicates available and everywhere I write to there is a long waiting list ... my expierence of day tickets is not good .. the smell of cannabis and people driving 100mph to get to the swim os not what I want at my age ... its looking like my excursion into carp fishing might come to an end if I cannot find a decent water .. i have applied to loads even up to 2hrs away to no avail ... but we keep trying ... especially now I have ordered my heli rigs from your site ha ha 😂 😅 🤣

Are there no clubs around your area. I'm a member of a couple of clubs. Redhouse is actually part of the pride of Derby club and JB pool which is on one of my other vlogs is also a club water. You will find club waters are a lit cheaper to join and they are usually pretty well run. They usually have a few different waters to fish to. You will find with decent syndicates that they will have a waiting list. This shows they are a good well run syndicate. A bit more expensive to join but you do get the exclusivity of a well run water (in some cases) and smaller amounts of anglers on the ticket. I have never really been one for day tickets but sometimes it's good to have a change of scenery. 🎣👍😁

No problems mate. I'm at work so not busy at all 🤣🤣. The answer is yes and no. Clubs/club waters usually have a few lakes and are cheaper to join. They also don't have a limit on members. Syndicates are a bit more exusive and usually only have one water, depending on fish stocks they are usually a bit more expensive but limit the amount of anglers per year. 🎣👍😁
