There is a reason this song is so seldom covered - it's far too complex for most all bands. Here we have musicians - and engineer(s) - who can indeed pull off this musical masterpiece. This is more than a cover. It is a tribute, an homage to the greatest band ever.

few would dare attempt it. They do a great job. Have to admit I'm missing some nuances, but still better than I could have hoped for, even for Zep themselves in the present day.

Imagine being in a bar when they get up and perform this. I would have loved to have seen Zepp perform this live, sadly this was never to be. But what a substitute. Great performance of a song that is not that easy to take on. Well done to all concerned.

Oh man its not easy but I can't help trying to imagine Zeppelin pushing forward in the 80's , if Bonzo had to go for whatever reason , in my mind after 40 years it works out probably best left the way it is .. I hope that thought makes sense , it came from you know where....the 70's ruled, Zeppelin ruled it.. I'd go back in a second , without a doubt..

I had the album on 8 track in December 1979 after my older brother age 22 was killed in a car accident after midnight November 30 coming back from a Kansas concert in Shreveport Louisiana. Look up their concert schedule. I had just started high school. He had been playing this and after he died I listened to it on repeat at night while I slept. I was listening when Bonham died and found out later and he was already my favorite magical drummer. Of course I became a drummer, singer, and eventually learned guitar too.

I am so sorry, how sad!! I lost my son after he had just turned 22 from a methadone overdose in 2008.

This is honestly one of the best things on all of KZread. Musically, visually…amazing.

Susan Kovacs is so laid back effortless and never over sings . Really great

This is as epic a cover of such an epic song that you could possibly ask for. The album cover come to life, and the pic of Robert and John-Paul at the end. Just magic. Perfect.

Why "In Through The Outdoor" which came out in 79 was so underrated I don't get. I was 15 then and absolutely loved it then, and now.

I cannot understand a single word Robert sings in the original song. I love it though. Awesome job with the video and performance.

This is what happens when you get the worship band from church loaded up with enough liquor. Great version btw

I had this album on 8 track when I was 15. Carouselambra took up an entire 'side'. I used to go out to my Dad's car at night because he had a great sounding stereo, and I'd play this track over and over back to back One of the most influential songs of my youth. Thanks to you all for making the commitment necessary to do this tune.

I actually saw Jimmy Page sitting alone at the bar at the Ole Absinthe House in New Orleans. Of course we talked and drank, he was very friendly. He was wearing a long tail black tux at the time. He was there following the night's show during the 86' Firm tour. I KNEW I was looking right at the album cover LIVE. So glad it was recreated as it should be. GREAT SONG! GREAT COVER!

Extremely impressive, great cover of Zeppelin's last epic, a prog Masterpiece and a fabulous interpretation finished off with the Album cover coming alive.

Wow. What a great all around job with a super unique concept. So good. This is not an easy one to pull off live and you guys nail it. Plus the “I’m gonna crawl” in the background is pretty darn cool.

Absolutely nailed every bit of a very hard song off of the very first Zeppelin album I bought at 12 on 8-track at K-mart lol, props to the man on the kit you sir nailed all the Bonham nuances to perfection!!!!

Yeah, but let's be honest, Jones was able to multi track his parts, and they never performed this song live. If they did, I'm sure they would have had to use extra personnel.

I just came upon this, I will not knock anything but the opening of this video is so remarkable. I would had loved to Zeppelin go there with this. Very ingenious!

Agreed, "Carouselambra" and "In the light", both just happen to be in my top five Zeppelin songs.

That break in the song where it slows down is especially beautiful. How in the hell did Zepp come up with something so pretty? I remember hearing it play in my head when I saw the most beautiful girl I`d ever seen bouncing up the stairs in high school.

The song is also a lyrical masterpiece. Plant was always known for his Tolkinesque lyrics, but this is and epic tale the follows.a full story arc.

This is jaw droppingly great, well done! LOVE the intro recreating the album cover!

This is the single best music video I have ever seen. First off, no one takes on a Carouselambra cover because no one has the stones to attempt something so difficult. Susan pulls off all the passion of Plant, while putting her own soulful, clean, powerful touch on the vocals. True to the original, but uniquely special in her own way. Just beautiful. The musicianship of Len's lead guitar, Alexa's keyboards, Rick and Tom's bass and drums are spot on Zep. Even Zep couldn't have reproduced this level of quality live on their best day. Add to the music the very accurate recreation of the ITTOD album cover as a setting - just theatrically and professionally done. MTV never produced anything of this quality in their years of running videos, and, yes, I'm including Michael Jackson. I'm completely blown away and can't stop watching this. WELL DONE AND CONGRATS.

I love this song and great job. When I saw Page and Plant in 1995, they added parts of this song when they did IN THE EVENING. I liked the photo of John Paul Jones being shown in this video since I believe he had big part writing this song.

This has to be the most underrated thing I've ever seen, I'm sorry I cannot give you a hundred thousand upvotes. Those who know me well have been subjected to this song at incredible volume. listening to me point out all the nuances of what should have been their next epic. You can enhance or improve the song but you can’t replace the instruments. The drums, guitar and bass are the same. But you can’t replace the Yamaha GX-1.

I love this band. They play the parts amazingly, and this video is one of the most clever videos I have ever seen on KZread. I really love the concept and both the production and the editing are top-notch. (LOL!! The noise complaint @ 8:43 !!! :)The only thing that could've possibly made this video better would've been a live cameo of LZ themselves. Many kudos. I think I have watched this 50 times already.
