United Access is their US distributor. Unfortunately, the US has no clue about the Carony system and have not imported them. American's don't care as much as other countries do for their elderly. Makes it harder for the few of us that do care and could use easier assistance. Another gadget is the Multi-Lift or the Milford Person Lift. Either way, they are all so expensive. Way to profit from those in need.

My thoughts exactly. I did see one with a simple scissors lift and safety handle. Going to look more into that. No time to spend a half hour getting someone in and out of a vehicle with every stop.

They do have it. Try The BraunAbility Turny Evo Swivel Seat. This Carony is perfect for people that can't transfer well from one chair to another and if you can just put the wheelchair top in there and then put it back on the wheels, that is perfect for a caregiver.
